The service provided by Zest Car Rental was simple and easy, we would use the service again. There were lots of clear communications and even a pick-up checklist sent to us prior to our rental, which provided very helpful information and FAQs.

Although this is not Zest's fault at all and is only a head's up, we were slightly disappointed that MadeiraRent staff were very pushy towards paying their own extremely costly additional in-house insurance, even though we had already paid insurance through Zest. We declined the additional insurance but felt they were very pushy with this and for other additional services we didn't really need.

The car was in relatively good condition, although quite a big dent and also very scratched under the front of the car. Luckily we caught this and took photo evidence, which we were asked about on drop-off. Thank you, Zest, for reminding us on your communications to take clear photos.

Had a great experience through Zest and found they explained all the options clearly in advance, during the booking process. On arrival the car provided was within the same group and when I had an issue during the booking, Alamo/Enterprise/Woodford group were quick to swap the car out and I was really impressed. Overall I found the Zest have the clearest information and support available when hiring a car.

Excellent service from Zest car rental. The customer service is always available to help. The car provider RentAuto in Faro Portugal provided a good service and the car was in good condition. Based on my experience so far, I warmly recommend them as an option for car rental.

Hired a car via Zest for a trip to Ireland, Car company was Keddy and we picked up at Dublin Airport. Had picked a Hyundai Tucson size and was what we got 👍 The car had a list of cosmetic damage and had covered over 128k KM's but still fulfilled the job of taking 4 adults and 4 cases to Carlow and back. Will definitely use Zest and Keddy again

I wouldn’t give even a star. Lost my whole money for the car service I didn’t even use. One of the worst experiences I have ever had. I booked a car from Hobart city through third party. I was late 3 hours. People might have personal reasons to be late. When I got there, the staff was very frustrated with us. Very rude. I know there was 2 hours waiting time. But the pick up instructions clearly stated “ Vehicles can be collected from the Hobart City office Monday to Friday from 08:00 HRS to 16:30 HRS, and Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 HRS to 14:00 HRS.” Why mention this on pick up instructions? I did not let them know I was coming late because of this. I understood it is okay to collect between these hours.

It is understandable that certain charge for late coming or cancellation. But charging whole payment amount. Is this how this company makes money? For the service they didn’t even provide?
So I paid $500 for the car service I never got.
Neither of the associated companies refunded.
