We recently enjoyed a four night stay at Zeal Farm, nestled in the tranquil countryside right beside the stunning landscapes of Exmoor. From the moment we arrived, our host Linda made us feel entirely welcome with her warm and friendly manner. Her hospitality was truly outstanding, and it set the tone for a relaxing break.
The room we stayed in was incredibly comfortable and thoughtfully prepared, ensuring we had everything we needed for a restful night's sleep after days spent exploring the beautiful surroundings. Each morning, we were treated to a superb breakfast with quality ingredients and generous portions – a perfect start to our days.
One of the highlights of our visit was meeting Spud, the resident dog, who quickly won our hearts with his playful charm and gentle nature. He added a delightful touch of character to our stay and made us feel right at home.
Overall, we highly recommend Zeal Farm to anyone seeking a peaceful and picturesque escape. Whether you’re looking to explore Exmoor, unwind in the countryside, or simply enjoy excellent hospitality, this lovely location will not disappoint.

This is a fairy place for people who comes from abroad or the city. Linda is the best host we have ever met. This farm is an experience: the food, the bed, the nature, the animals, the landscape. Having breakfast while petting her two cats, a way to begin your best days EVEN WITH THE HEAVY RAIN! I am sure I will return here as soon as possible.

Absolutely gem of a place.
Beautiful setting, and so so peaceful!

Linda was a great host. Friendly and chatty, but not over the top. Full of advice for things to do/places to go.
Lots of good info in the lounge too.

The bedrooms are spotless and a good size. The beds and bedding are wonderfully comfortable - like sleeping in a cloud! Ensuite brilliant, and toiletries lovely - didn't end up using any of our own stuff.

Breakfast delicious too. Nothing too much trouble. And freshly baked bread with home made preserves!

And loved the family animals too. Cats and dogs and horses, all friendly and happy to say hello.

We've come back 9 months later and our stay is just as good as the first time.
Our second visit was just as good!

Peaceful and secluded BnB on a working farm near Dulverton and Tarr steps. Traditional style farmhouse with en-suite bedrooms. Welcoming owners with lots of local knowledge to enhance your stay. Good selection available at breakfast, freshly prepared. It was a wet weekend and the owners volunteered to take our soggy walking coats to dry in their family kitchen by their stove. Dog friendly with a surcharge 😁👍🐕

We stayed here for 2 nights, lovely farmhouse, very comfortable quiet rooms, a great breakfast was served by Claire who was lovely, she even gave us tips on where to find the red deer.
We would not hesitate to visit again.

We had the pleasure of staying here for a couple of nights in Oct 2021. The farmhouse is located in an idyllic setting with good views all around. Not too far off the beaten track, Dulverton is easily accessible and there are plenty of walks from the farm to choose from.

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was well presented and the good selection of food at breakfast easily catered for all tastes and dietary requirements. The homemade bread and marmalade were awesome; and we are still enjoying the latter after buying a couple of jars.

We would certainly revisit Zeal Farm again in the future and have no problems in recommending it to others.
