We’ve had a lovely week! An adorable bolt hole. The decor is lovely , the bed comfortable , and the views across the field and valley were just the ticket ! We had some rain but honestly it was lovely being all cozy whilst the heavens opened outside. Paul was super responsive and friendly. I would 100% recommend .

The whole experience was 1st class start to finish, everyone in our party had an amazing time and want to return. The quality was obvious from the moment we arrived and the atmosphere was fantastic. The views of the river were the perfect backdrop to the beautiful property where we had everything we needed and more. Excellent.

We had a lovely stay in Dartmouth. Communication was great, the flat was spotless and well located - only a few minutes’ walk from the centre, and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the views from the bedrooms and living space and would return in a heartbeat.

A great and very well-equipped accommodation in the middle of nature. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and didn't miss anything. It was especially nice to have breakfast in the countryside and be greeted by the cows.

We booked Higher Venice to have a family birthday celebration as it was really special to have a rapidly expanded family sleep under one roof, share garden adventures and bedtime stories. The home is in an idyllic rural setting, so come prepared with all your groceries, and from the minute you walk in it has that old charm comfort. It is spacious and well stocked and we all found the beds very comfy. Perfect location for a family or small group celebration. The garden is a joy and there is a lovely walk down to Tuckenhey Village where there is a riverside pub (best at high tide). Our hosts were prompt with any queries and we will definitely go again.

We had a lovely few days, celebrating a friend's birthday. It was great to have a parking space and to be in walking distance of all that Dartmouth has to offer. Being slightly out of town does mean it is very quiet and we all slept really well.
The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated, with good beds, three bathrooms and lots of good seating in the lounge and dining area. The kitchen is very well equipped - we loved the huge fridge and freezer and it's great to have the utility room with a hanging rail for coats and wet gear.
The top deck has superb views over to the river and is equipped with great garden furniture.
Paul was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had beforehand.
