The team were fantastic in finding us the perfect place for our Yorkshire trip for a friends wedding. The cottage was absolute luxury and only 5 minutes from the wedding venue. Great personal service start to finish, would certainly use again.

I used Yorkshire Escapes to stay up in Yorkshire with some friends for a friend's wedding. We stayed in a beautiful cottage in Masham, the cottage was spotless, welcoming and in fantastic location.

On arrival, there was a hamper with some lovely gifts, including a bottle of wine that we promptly opened, really nice touch!

Communication, was prompt, friendly and super easy which made the check-in/getting in to the property a seamless affair making the whole process of coming up from London much easier.

I am based down south but my girlfriend and I have already planned to come back up and use Yorkshire Escapes again once things are back to normality so we can explore properly this time.

Would 100% recommend Yorkshire Escapes for a lovely countryside getaway.

Excellent customer service. Staff are very attentive and friendly on all communications with them. Had an event which they resolved quickly and put reassurance of why we booked with a well reviewed company. Thank you to all staff who helped us.

I have been in asygarth in a cottage and it was lovely and quite and we are planning on going back would recommend to anyone and Yorkshire escape are lovely and if u contact them with a problem they get straight back to u

We couldn’t have hoped for a better stay! Amazing accommodation in a beautiful location. The team were great and helped us book some extra activities to make our stay even more special. Couldn’t recommend Yorkshire Escapes more and we’ll certainly be back soon.

Whilst I cannot fault Yorkshire Escapes, our stay at The Barn, Long Marston was below par in some areas. The property is beautiful and the location is stunning and it cannot be faulted in this regard.

However, cleanliness was poor, especially given Covid cleaning promises which necessitated an early departure and late arrival.

I found it unacceptable to place clothes on a shelf in the wardrobe and remove them to wear to find them caked in thick dust! Our granddaughter was also showered in dust from the extractor fan in the en suite and closer inspection found that all bathroom fans were clogged with dust! The oven was also dirty and we had to wash the oven trays before we could use them.

Another strange and frankly unacceptable request was to empty the bins ourselves and take them to the skip over a mile away down the access road. We arrived to find both wheelie bins full. Fortunately the owner arranged for them to be emptied by a member of the farm estate. Just as well, as I think given the price we had paid for a 5 night stay, guests should not be expected to empty the bins themselves!!!

I was also unhappy that the owner arrived one morning and just let herself in without knocking. It may be her property, but we were paying guests and I thought that this was very discourteous.

Some lovely touches, such as fresh flowers in vases dotted around the house, but it was spoilt by overlooking basic hygiene and housekeeping. If they can remedy this and the bin issue, it would be fabulous.

Amazing service! Found us exactly what we were after for our staycation, there was a refreshing amount of options available considering the short notice, not often seen when we've booked elsewhere.

The team gave us a really useful idea of what was in the local area which saved us the researching and bookings but also lovely to have the local advice personalised to you rather than a generic internet search!

The house was in pristine condition and it felt more like being a guest at someone's home than renting a generic holiday house. It was a relief not having to worry about whether the dog would be permitted or permitted with certain restrictions, she was accommodated as well as we were!

We will certainly be back thank you!
