Great place to stay if you like the outdoors. Surrounded by trees. Stayed a few nights and sat out every evening with BBQ and campfire. Easy access to London and a nice contrast to return to an oasis of relaxation. Helpful and friendly wardens Nicola and Mary. Clean. Good shower with plenty of warm water. Nice mixture of guests there during my stay. Quite a small hostel so a friendly atmosphere. Would recommend to families and others passing through.

Lovely, green place and so close to London! Very nicely kept, clean, good facilities. BBQ and designated place for a camp fire, front porch allows you to sit outside even if it rains. Good area for shorter and not so short walks. Bell tents are great!

Smaller than many hostels and only self catering but great value given that it is located in a very expensive area.
Good for families. Friendly and helpful warden.
Beds have USB chargers built in which is great.
Toilets and showers are in separate block so access is external but it's a very short walk.

Jordans is a small hostel and it felt like i'd stepped off the world for a night. It is secluded and the gardens are well cared for. Twinkling fairy lights and plenty of scatter cushions and lush greenery gave a lovely atmosphere at dusk and it was a delight to watch squirrels from the lounge while I ate breakfast. Don't expect flash modern bathrooms - this is a character place.

A warm friendly welcome greets you, the other guests and the manager makes you feel part of a family and the hostel in every way is an absolute delight. This is now one of my favourite YH places to stay and I look forward to my return. Spring must be incredible here!

Just returned from staying at YHA Jordan. It was a lovely and quiet spot not too far from London.||Room was very clean and so were the communial areas. Plenty of utensils and a very helpful warden.||Once the children were asleep, we were able to have some time on the bench outside the room. Very romantic lighting and a beautiful outdoor atmosphere, that is sheltered.||This was our first time using YHA and we are all looking forward to our future adventures. We will definitely come back to Jordan next year to use the Outdoor BBQ.

A perfect spot in the countryside, close to transport but hidden in the woods. The first purpose built YHA in the uk, it's simple but clean and cosy with friendly staff and magnificent plants. There's also a fire area, a bbq, lovely outdoor picnic spot and cushioned benches from which you can watch the world go by. A lovely find.
