We had a really nice experience here in a lovely, clean, great specification caravan. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay just before Easter 2024, and loved the setting / harbour overlook and the surrounding area. A very nice Ski Bar / Restaurant too that served us with a hearty / tasty burger and chips meal. Thank-you for a very nice stay / vacation. 🙂

We hired a private caravan for 2 nights, just the 2 of us and our 3 dogs. We were allowed to bring the dogs beds and throws to protect the living area. The site itself has great views and lots of space for walks. The site staff were very friendly and the bar on the waterfront was hosting small events in the evening. The now disused quarry makes for a nice nature reserve and harbour type feature for watersports. There were a lot of Geese down by the water so our dogs were kept on short leashes

The nearby village had some small shops and places to get food. We took a daytrip over to Barrow in Furnace and stopped at some beaches on the way.

Overall a very nice caravan site. Just the actual van we hired was a bit spartan and dated.
