Enjoyed our visit. The viewing point was brilliant - loads of different birds to see. Plenty of interesting information boards, and a very expert volunteer to tell us what we were seeing.

Always a good day out, especially for families, photographers, birdwatchers and those who enjoy nature. Despite being freezing cold and raining. Went on a (free) harewalk and watched Swan (and other waterbirds feeding). Excellent guides/volunteers who really know their stuff from local history, land management, conservation to the flora and fauna! Cafe and shop are nice and reasonably priced. Cafe of course has fantastic views and animal.spotting opportunities. Great that main hide is heated, seated and safe from the elements. We tried our hand at making seed bombs and experimented with how different bird beaks work to catch their prey. Good disability access and very child friendly.

Great spot to photograph waterfowl, saw lots whooper swans, lapwings and pochards, with one common crane sighting. We went to a floodlit swan feed which was very informative and great to photograph. Overall great experience!

Wetland nature reserve with elevated cafe with views, large inside bird hide (for winter), and walks with bird hides overlooking lakes and wetlands. Entry £6.40 or £7 with gift aid. Note many paths (more than half the site) closed during Spring breeding season (which they should mention,!). You'll need binoculars to appreciate it as the birds are some distance away. Pond dipping for kids. Recommended even if you're not a bird spotter without binoculars. The very nice cafe overlooking the wetlands has a free telescope to use which is amazing. They should have a lot more of them. Visit just for the wetland view. +1 for Wheelchair friendly and Disability buggies.

Lots of variety and quantity of birds. It was a windy day and the flocks of lapwings and golden plover whirling round were amazing. And so many pochard! Also great views of curlew, and a couple of cattle egrets amongst other things.
A friendly warden was also very happy to help with bird identification.

Beautiful space, some easily accessible walks, great for birds but also arthropods, wild flowers and other wild life. Nice café and gift shop and staff are really helpful and approachable. Family friendly but be aware - only guide dogs are allowed.

Wide open spaces, plenty of wildlife especially birds and no shortage of hides to watch from. Lots of information and activities for kids. Staff are enthusiastic and knowledgeable.
Plus there's a good cafe serving simple tasty food. We were on site for 3+ hours and could easily have spent all day there.
