We visited Wreckspeditions for the first time in May’25 for 4 days diving and stayed in Dunoon itself.
*Wreckspeditions is a superbly run charter boat business and comes highly recommended!*
We found Jason and Claire Cole’s to be extremely friendly and helpful in all aspects of our trip, right through from the initial booking to our arrival and throughout. These guys really do go the extra mile to look after their guests! Claire & Jason put 200% into everything they do and this makes them a shining example of what all charter services should aspire to be!. Jason is an expert skipper cox’n and kept us fully informed on how the weather in the days ahead was looking and which sites were likely to be suitable. The Clyde and it’s surrounding sea lochs presented us with some really interesting and very enjoyable diving opportunities with both the wrecks of the Clyde and the stunningly beautiful array of marine life that adorned them, providing something for all diver interests within our party! Jason is an extremely accommodating, efficient and helpful skipper indeed and marshals his diving operations with friendly professionalism at all times, both on and off the water.
Jason’s RHIB ‘Starfish Enterprise’ is a really comfortable and well equipped diving platform and the after dive hot drinks (incl. hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and homemade biscuits and cakes) are a really nice touch! We thoroughly recommend Jason & Claire Cole’s and Wreckspeditions and we will be returning at our earliest opportunity! War Wrecks Weekend
What an amazing trip again with Wreckspeditions!
Amazing diving from anti submarine netting to a motor torpedo boat fairmile D class. Stunning views above and below the water. Fantastic service as always by Jason, who goes the extra mile and beyond to make sure he does everything possible to make the diving and full weekend as enjoyable as possible. Does his very best to find somewhere to dive safely if the original dive site isn’t safe to dive!

Spent an incredible week diving with Wreckspeditions around the Isle of Arran. The dive sites were amazing and the whole experience was made even better by Jason, the skipper. He was absolutely fantastic – patient, friendly, supportive, "funny" and clearly knows his stuff. Jason’s knowledge of diving and the sites we visited was incredible, and his detailed pre-dive briefings made every dive relaxed and really enjoyable. The hot drinks and snacks between dives were a very welcome surprise too. Couldn’t have asked for a better skipper or a more professional charter service. Highly recommend!

We had an awesome few days diving with Jason. The boat was lovely, and the post-dive hot drinks were EXCELLENT. Every aspect of the diving operation was very well organized and slick, both on and off the water.

We got detailed briefings for each dive site we visited, and it felt like the skipper was narrating it to us throughout the dive. The weather wasn’t ideal, but we made the most of what we had and dived the best sites available.

Everyone departed with a massive smile on their faces and an even bigger itch to come back.

We took a gamble booking this in February, Jason communicated with us, offering us alternatives if the weather was bad. He warned us of the issues and we felt well informed. Fortunately we had sunshine and calm waters. The boat trip was brilliant and we got very close to the wrecks. Jason makes excellent rock cakes to go with the coffee. He is passionate about his work. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this trip to anyone.

As far as dive charters go, they really don’t come any better than Wreckspeditions. The bar has been set high here, for others to achieve.

Based at Holy Loch Marina, with ample parking and just a few strides down to the jetty with your kit, to where the Starfish Enterprise waits to speed you out to a vast array of beautiful dive sites, abundant in life, flora & fauna.

A shiny new filling station for Wreckspeditions this year, so air and nitrox fills on site, with 32% on tap and any other required mixes blended. The marina has spotlessly clean toilet facilities and the bonus of a quality cafe on site to replenish any calories burnt off!

Skipper Jason Coles, very professional and clearly driven by his passion of all things marine, to provide us divers with the best possible experience whilst maintaining the all important high level of humour and banter. A fountain of knowledge, he delivers a quality pre-dive briefing to ensure everyone stays safe, is aware of what needs to be done and has the opportunity to get the most out of each dive.

Onboard The Starfish Enterprise, the system of kitting up, water entry and de-kitting after the dive is long tried and tested and runs as smooth as silk. No pressure, no rushing and a relaxed stress free experience all-round. I do have to make a special point of mentioning the legendary flapjacks and hot chocolates with cream & marshmallows that somehow appear when back onboard after the dive😊

The Easter War Wrecks weekend has been a blast from beginning to end, with 8 fantastic dives over 4 days, a few history lessons learnt and cart load of laughs along the way. This was my 3rd trip with Wreckspeditions and I’ll be back for many more. They go the extra mile!

Recently finished the RYA Level 2 Powerboat course with Wreckspeditions. Two well organized and highly enjoyable days that mixed classroom (plus a fun and intuitive collision avoidance session outside) with on water training sessions. Jason is a great teacher, able work with trainees with different levels of experience in a way that kept everyone engaged and met their individual needs. Also the Holy Loch and Firth of Clyde off Dunoon are a lovely place to spend time training. Highly recommended!

Great Shipwreck Hunter tour with Jason. He's really knowledgeable and friendly, and was very engaging with kids.
Prepared for everything, Wreckspeditions has all the safety equipment you'll need, in sizes to fit all customers. You will feel well looked after. Honourable mention for the hot chocolate and biscuits! Would certainly book again.
