We recently stayed at Wooldown in the Sunseeker apartment, it was absolutely beautiful! Communication was amazing with useful information about the area and the apartment. We really liked the fact details of a local masseuse were provided, who came to the apartment to really make the weekend a relaxing experience.

Our 4th time back, we try to come every Easter and each time it gets better! The family are so lovely and welcoming they are understanding if you are travelling from far and arrive early or late, they leave a lovely little note and some goodies on your arrival. Wooldown has such a calm atmosphere where you can relax and unwind especially in the air spa baths taking in the gorgeous views of the country side and the sea. We would recommend Wooldown to anyone seeking some downtime and relaxation we can’t wait to return next year! (We would recommend visiting Strawberry Fields Farm Shop for some gorgeous fresh produce and Boscastle farm shop for the best Cornish breakfast and freshly baked hot cross buns)

Absolutely amazing stay at Wooldown Holiday Cottages. We stayed in 'Skyfall' which is an absolutely luxurious apartment and the perfect place for celebrating my special birthday. Huge comfy bed, a copper bath big enough for even my long legs, a large steam room (we had one most days - such a treat!) and huge rainfall shower head, fluffy towels, glass fire and a delicious welcome pack full of goodies. The weather was so good that even at the end of March, we could sit outside on the balcony loungers, surrounded by breathtaking views with the sun shinning overhead. Run by the wonderful Blewitt family who make you feel so welcome, this adults-only retreat is the perfect base for walks both local and further afield, sightseeing (St Ives is an art and crafts dream) or just chilling out with a good book. This is our third stay at Wooldown and we're already saving up for the next visit! Highly recommend, you'll never stay anywhere else afterwards :o)

Just returned from a wonderful few days staying in ‘The View’. It is the best cottage we have stayed in. We were lucky enough to have some snow while we were there, which was magical. The View is so warm and cosy with under floor heating and a fab gas fire. The air spa bath is amazing! As for the panoramic view, well the photos don’t do it justice. We will be back for sure. Thank you Rowan and family for a much needed escape x

Everything about Wooldown is perfect. The attention to detail and how well the apartments are presented are first class.
We have stayed at Wooldown on a number of occasions and have not been disappointed.

What an amazing stay. The attention to detail in these cottages allow you to fully relax.

The cottages are immaculate, have all the comforts and more. You have the opportunity to order homemade food delivered to your door at a very reasonable price and it is near lots of beautiful walks and attractions.

Finally, the communication from the hosts is excellent before, during and after and the arrival welcome is perfect.

I couldn't recommend it more. This was our 4th visit and we will definitely be back! Thank you Wooldown!

Lovely and clean, cosy.Nice touches with coffee machine and pods, little welcome note and fudge.So accommodating.Second stay, this time in one of the bedsits so no oven etc. Microwave and fridge,toaster and kettle.More than enough for brekkie! Lovely rain shower and parking.Looking forward to our next stay.

A. wonderful week away in the Woolbarn at Wooldown. We arrived in very cold weather to a warm cottage, heating on and fire alight.
It was a cold week with short days being early January, but having such a cosy place to return to each evening made the holiday most enjoyable. We managed several walks in the near locality, Canal to Bude, Bude to Summerleaze beach , the Tamar lakes, Tintagel headland and along the coast.
The views from the property are wonderful and it is all so relaxing. We have been several times and are definitely looking forward to another trip there later this year.
