We came with the children and booked in advance using tesco vouchers which is brilliant value. We started expoloring caves with knowledgable a d funny guide, caves were fantastic. Then we went through dinosaurs which were impressive as they moved. We attended the movie with great effects and had lunch in the cafe menu wasn't excessive but freshly cooked and reasonable priced and they had salad bar. . The paper museum was great but we didn't catch the demonstration. The circus performance was amazing and very entertaining. The crazy golf was great too eventhough we got very wet. Overall it's great place to visit with family only 20min from Cheddar village.

Loved Wookey hole. Stayed at the lodges by the hotel, which were nice.
The caves were great to go down into and the guide was informative. When you go back outside, there's a dinosaur wilderness which is good for little kids. We did the 4D cinema which was entertaining. If the weather hadn't been so bad, we would have done the crazy golf. But saying that, the weather added to the atmosphere, so didn't dampen out spirits. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic day out, great value for money, so interesting & informative with the history. The circus was ok though a big well done to the young ladies who performed. 4D cinema was fun ( though effects were slightly out of sync) little amusement inside was good, great array old fashioned amusement machines. Crazy golf was fun but gets busy.Food & drink available here or bring your own. It was well worth the drive from Shropshire.

Visited here during the Easter half-term, this place is AWESOME!!! We were staying at Bucklegrove Holiday Park so we got a 10% discount! All the attractions are included in the price so in terms of worth the money, it's well worth it. The caves are so cool, it's a half guided tour then you navigate the second half, it's easy to follow and lit up, that was worth it enough for me! But after this there are dinosaurs, a 4D cinema, two massive soft Plays, crazy golf, a museum, a circus, old fashioned arcade, a mirror maze and cafe. I am sure I have missed some!!! If you are close to Cheddar you need to go here, it's a great experience for everyone! And yes I got some cheese from the Wookey Hole Caves shop and yes it's great melted on toast!!

Fabulous day out. So much to do. Caves were WOW. My 3, 5 and 8 year old loved them. The dinosaurs also amazing, the theatre show, 3D cinema & old penny machines. Used ‘Kids Pass’ to get discount (kids half price). Went in August school holidays and wasn’t crowds of people like some parks. Will def be back and highly recommend.

Caves , dinosaur valley, 4D cinema experience, circus show (people no animals) , replica pier ,vintage coin machines, hall of mirrors etc and a game of crazy golf all in the entrance price except coin machines and some rides on pier .
Also free soft play area and there a restaurant too.
A great day out caves are with a guide telling the story of Wookey Hole . You can also book a more adventurous tour of caves with rock climbing and crawling on you belly though small gaps this must be done online and has restrictions.

The hotel with breakfast included is very good value for money. The bed is very comfortable but a little smaller than say a P.I. or T.L. bed.

Our only real complaint was the restaurant's evening meal. The steak was very chewy and tough. The accompanying French fries were over-fried so you got a mouthful of cooking oil which wasn't very pleasant and the mushrooms were similar.
A real shame. The hotel staff are all very helpful, friendly and pleasant. Did we complain about the meal? To be honest we were so tired we just couldn't be botherd. Next time, a d there will be a next time, we'll probably eat elsewhere unless they read this and take note.
It's a great hotel, which is convenient to Wookey Hole and as a great base for the surrounding tourist adventures.

A really fun day out for the family! We could have spent longer here, but arrived later in the day.
I would recommend getting here early so you get plenty of time to do all the different activities.
Firstly our guide was fun and engaging as we walked through the magnificent caves. They are amazing and I'd really like to do the caving experience if I get to come back.
Then after the caves the kids loved seeing all the dinosaurs as we walked through the creek.
We didn't have time to see the 4d cinema, but the kids loved playing in the soft play, and then shooting the foam balls at eachother in the ball shooting area. Again we didn't have time to watch the circus or spend much time in the penny arcade, but my son loved the mirror maze. We also ran out of time to do the free crazy golf, gutted!
So although we missed out on quite a bit, we all had a great day, finished off with delicious ice-cream at the parlour by the carpark, and the car parking is free! How often do you get free parking now days!
So I say it again, get here early as there is so much to do 😁
