Me and my mates happened to stumble across this place during our visit to the Lake District and I must say I would highly recommend this place to everyone. The staff were great and it was an amazing activity to do.

We rented an electric boat for 2 hours (perfect amount) and took it out to explore the lake. The boat itself takes about 5 mins to get used to but after that it’s fairly easy. My only advice would be to make sure you give yourself enough time to return and park. We found it difficult to locate the place upon return.

The staff were amazing and very friendly. They also recommend us other things to do in the Lake District.

We were determined, even though it was rainy, there was a covered area downstairs on the boat, however we wanted to see. By the time we left if was just showery, perfect boat trip. Clean and safe. We loved it. Went on the blue route, £14 each and 45 minutes long.

Loved it! What an experience. We hired an electric boat for 2 hours, which I think was perfect, I think 1 hour would have been too quick. Love that children are free, with 3 children, that is a blessing. The views from the lake were so beautiful, I cant recommend doing this more, the only down side I would say is finding parking, we went to Lake Windermere twice, on a miserable day and a beautiful day, and the beautiful day was a nightmare to park. And then charges for the toilets which I really dont agree with. Its greedy esp when the toilets are just as disgusting as anywhere else.

Happened to find lakeside by mistake and parked up and spoke to the kiosk here who suggested I do the freedom return. Wow what a lovely day I’ve had. The boats were clean, prompt and comfortable and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Great experience! Had a wonderful hour on the electric boat, wish we’d booked two hours. Safety briefing from the lovely two lads and Akmal at waterside. Will definitely be doing this again next year!

Wonderful Windermere Lake cruise which is a 45 minutes boat ride along the longest Lake District 10.5 miles beautiful long lake. It is extremely cold and windy, although it was gorgeously sunny, so do bring along a warm jacket and bundle up real good. The boat ride is scenic, and the waters are calm. They sell hot drinks and other beverages if you need a cuppa to warm up. There are a few seats in the open upper deck. We were on the Spirit. Do join in this optional excursion in your tour.

A beautiful place to be, our group of 30 were greeted warmly by the gentlemen who helped us get our tickets. The boat could be better. However the scenic ride made it up!

Just been on the Yellow Cruise and it's well worth the money. We just did a round trip but loved the scenery and the information from the guided tour.
