Beautiful place in the countryside fantastic view and facilities. The place is run by Ash & Nic who are the most attentive and understanding managers I’ve ever met. Nothing is too much. Then there’s the food truck. Wow delicious menus throughout the week. Ash is also the head chef and his food is just out of this world. The vistas are beautiful and fully equipped with every you’ll need during your stay. Bbqs and a hot tub in the back. Can’t recommend enough. Get yourself booked in and enjoy your stay

Fab holiday in a lovely peaceful setting. Swimming pool needs a bit of investment but it was a lovely temperature and added great value to the site. Booking swimming was a bit painful.

The cottage is well equipped with all pots, pans and utensils you will need. We were advised to book two swimming pool sessions prior to our stay. The pool is heated and has seats and loungers to use. Lovely pool for hour but can feel little crowded with more than 8 in at any one time (pics 5,6&7). Think some don't book but use the code from previous session. No games room available this was empty building. The cottage was lovely base to explore from and in a beautiful setting. We went for lunch at beachcomber cafe (pic 17&18) when we arrived which was lovely with great menu choices. Although the weather hasn't been the best this week we have managed to find perfect walks on the doorstep of willingcott. The cottage has lots of maps and information on the local area. We have done the route from willingcott to woolacombe twice which starts on Tarka trail and then through farm fields, on through woolacombe holiday park and down into woolacombe (pics 8-13) You need to be used to walking and be of reasonable health to undertake this. Barracane Beach is lovely but dogs have to be on leads at all times. The cafe does takeaway sri lakan meat or vegetable curry nights £14.50 with pickle tray etc. woolacombe fish and chips £10 for large cod £4.75 for chips and £2 peas or curry sauce. Lots of cafes offer pasties all seem to be around £5.20 for meat or vegetarian options. Another walk was from willingcott to Ilfracombe along the Tarka trail and the old Ilfracombe railway line. Old signal posts and railway sleepers can be found along the route and historical plaques. We walked into Ilfracombe (first 3 pictures below)and then back out using the coastal path which is well signposted to Lee. Again physically you need to be healthy as there are a few steep climbs and steep decent. We stumbled across the The Grampus Inn, super friendly staff, great menu 12-3pm then 6pm-8pm booking advised. We then took 18% route back to join the Tarka trail at lee bridge (picture 4) then back to Willingcott. 19km round trip definitely earned my glass of wine.

Lovely holiday homes set in a quiet area of Devon which is perfect for exploring the local beaches. Great swimming pool with booking system so not overcrowded.

Some of the cottages are pretty basic, but the bonus of having a heated outside pool and really central to lots of places (driving) it's actually not a bad base to choose. Could do better at the Clubhouse as there is only 1 pool table and a coffee machine. We really enjoyed our stay.

Well positioned just outside Woolacombe and with most of the lovely North Devon beaches within a 20 minutes car journey, it is a good choice. A pub within walking distance and a Nisa shop 2 mins in the car. With an outdoor pool and vast acres of grounds to walk why 4 star? Well the site is in transition with more houses to be built, a new club house and pool is planned. For now whilst all is lovely it is also showing signs of age. It looks the new owner is investing and maintaining so it remains a good choice.....I will certainly be visiting again.
