Visited today (27/10/2024) and had a wonderful time with my 4 year old son. We were greeted by a fantastic young lady with an excellent manner and customer service skills. I wish the staff had worn name badges so I could have given her a shout out, she was brilliant! The indoor play area was smaller than I’d imagined but I was very impressed with the build and focus on nature/bringing the outdoors indoors. There’s water running through the indoor play area and a huge dynamic sand pit which kept my son entertained for ages. When we eventually ventured outdoors we enjoyed a picnic on one of the many benches and then headed over to the mud kitchen. After this we visited the straw bales, zip lines and den building areas which were all fabulous. Finished up with a delicious ice cream which is homemade and they have 25+ flavours! All in all, a wonderful experience and we would definitely return. Bring spare clothes and/or waterproofs so children can fully enjoy the messy play areas!

We recently visited William's Den with our two children, ages 7 and 11, and it was an outstanding experience for the whole family! The variety of play areas is perfect for kids of all ages, and both of our children were completely captivated from the moment we arrived. Our 7-year-old loved climbing and exploring the outdoor adventure zones, while our 11-year-old was equally entertained, finding new challenges and activities that kept him engaged throughout the day.

The mix of natural play elements and creative design is truly impressive. The outdoor spaces encourage kids to use their imaginations, build, and explore in ways that feel so different from typical play centers. The indoor play area was just as exciting, offering plenty of opportunities for the kids to get creative and have fun.

The whole environment felt safe, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ensuring that everyone was having a great time. We also enjoyed a lovely meal at the café, where the food was fresh, delicious, and catered to both kids and adults.

William's Den is a fantastic destination for families, especially if you're looking to get the kids outside and active. Our children had an amazing time, and we're already planning our next visit!

My only criticism was the price of the food, I felt this was a little pricey.

This is one of the best places for families in Yorkshire. it is full of creative and active fun for preschool and primary school children. The staff are excellent and they provide such a great range of activities. The cafe serves delicious and reasonably priced food. The site is spread out with plenty of places to set up a picnic if you prefer. We brought 3 children aged 5.8.and 11 and all of them loved it. A wonderful day out and at an affordable price.

People working there are really friendly and helpful, you can tell they care about it!

The play areas are well designed and there's lots for them to do inside and out. On top of that, this visit (summer holidays) they had a wild west themed day of activities they signposted you to, and gave announcements out about.
It was very busy being the holidays but didn't feel over crowded. Toilets clean and easily accessible for all of us at the same time.

Food in the Restaurant was absolutely great! Fresh wood fired pizza and the best Crispy Korean Chicken burger ? would recommend

Great day out. The kids loved all the activities and things to climb and swing on. Ice-cream parlour was fantastic, so much choice. Great choice of drinks and food. Very clean and tidy place. Tractor ride was great fun with animals to spot on the way round.

Absolutely wonderful day out for all the family. Fresh air, endless imaginary play options and loads of fun to be had! We've been several times, including camping over one night this summer, and always had the best time. Highly recommended!

It's been about 3 years or so since I last went, so it's semi nostalgic for me and my family because we used to go all the time. We had fun building a den, going on the zipwires, etc. The food was very good, portion wise, and taste wise. Overall, my only criticique is the long waits for food (because I'm very impatient and have an insatiable appetite), although it is worth the wait

Had an absolutely wonderful day here with granddaughter aged 4 (+16 yr old!) there was so much to keep them entertained for the full day 10am-4pm (didn’t get to do every thing) staff was out of this world extremely friendly, well mannered and interactive. It’s very organised, brilliant itinerary, very clean with excellent facilities. Took a picnic and found a picnic table with no problem at all, they do have a restaurant and a pizza truck but didn’t divulge but regretted it as it looked fantastic, however I can recommend the coffee and ice cream it was delightful. Really impressed will definitely return and recommend. Also considering a little camping trip although I’m only 14 miles away! Don’t generally do reviews but this place definitely deserves one. Hats off to Williams Den you are amazing and I couldn’t find fault with a single thing, it blew me away. I wish this establishment every success it damn well deserves it, we had an amazing day building wonderful memories and new friends.
