This was my first marina experience and I could not have picked a better marina to visit. Awesome facilities including lovely en-suite bathrooms with great water pressure plus a boaters lounge. Friendly, helpful staff and a wonderful community of creative residents.

Unlike many other marinas, you're not packed in like sardines with one boat width of water on at least one side of your boat making it quite spacious.

Located at Napton Junction, it's the perfect place to stopover for a day or a week with a choice of cruising routes.

2 great pubs nearby - Kings Head serving delicious food and ale and The Folly - over the hill on the Oxford canal. Small grocery store and cafe in Napton with plenty of supplies available.

My only criticism is the lack of internet/wifi which would make this marina the best in it's class.

Popular marina. Quite a number of moored boats for long stay.
There are 5 camping challets for over night stay. Each has double bed. Very good option if boat owners have extra visitors. Also you can rent here boat for holidays.

This marina is ideal if you want to leave your boat in a safe place. However if you are looking for a marina to stay on the boat we don’t feel it’s great. You are not able to get to the canal on foot without tackling a very busy road, this also stops you walking to the pretty village of Napton on the hill. The internet is very poor we have three networks EE, O2 and 3 we only just managed to get a 3 signal the other two networks were very hit and miss. The marina was poorly lit and the dog walking area was not great.
Also why they would put ash bins at the end of the pontoons and tell people to put poo bags in them too is very strange as if there is hot as going in with poo bags I’m sure they will start to smell.
The pontoons are very long so you could end up with 4 boats on a pontoon which can be noisy. Hence we made other arrangements for the winter.

Gary and team were so welcoming and friendly. We had a fantastic break with black prints and the marina offered great service and amenities. The team here are really client focused. All the facilities and open areas are spotless. I would highly recommend this Marine.

Efficient and friendly Marina. Office staff couldn't be more helpful. Pump out, water, gas and diesel available. Small shop in the office, some food, coal, keepsakes. Peaceful and pleasant moorings that won't break the bank. Close to public transport and walking distance to a good pub. Shirt cruise to the Folly at Napton...a truly good canal side pub. Highly recommended
