We had a great time paddle boarding and kayaking at Shanklin Beach. Rented the kayaks and paddle boards from wight water and the staffs were super friendly and helpful. Wet suits can be rented for an additional fee but we didn’t need them as it was warm. There’s a nice cafe next door. Dogs are allowed on kayaks as well!

A lovely For Hire shop for water activities like kayaking, paddle boarding, surfing, etc. with affordable price. It lies just besides Shanklin beach towards Shandown beach. The shop owners are humble and very cooperative. I did kayaking with my wife. They instruct how to do and provide appropriate clothing with life jackets. They also have separate changing rooms for boys and girls. A must visit place on Isle of Wight.

My son had a paddle boarding lesson on 23/8 and he had a great time. Arthur was great showing him the ropes and everyone we spoke to was kind, helpful and really lovely. We had a wonderful session - the weather and the sea was absolutely perfect. Absolutely brill!!

We had the absolute best time renting sailing dinghies from Wight Water! Scott is very knowledgeable, taught us a lot and is an awesome person. Him and his team are very friendly, welcoming and professional. The best water sports rental experience we have ever had! Will definitely be coming back when we visit Isle of Wight again.

What an amazing place! Highly recommended for some water activities for us and our 8, 11 and 14 year old. Friendly and informative staff and a fantastic cafe (Tradewinds cafe) next door.

Provided a great experience for my family. Friendly customer service and practical advice that enabled the 5 of us to kayak to Sandown Pier and back. Appreciated the help launching on a day with some waves. Rentals are by the hour, but that hour is a relaxed one if you’re still out enjoying yourself. Thanks Wight Water!

The whole experience started well, with a really helpful member of staff.

Unfortunately, my son didn't enjoy his first surfing class. It might be that he was a bit young, but he didn't feel like he got support from the instructors to get the best of the session and then got tired and didn't want to continue.

The staff were great and allowed me and my younger son to use their equipment to go body boarding for free. It is a shame that my son didn't like his class or this would have been an easy 5 stars.
