We had our wedding here in September and had the best day. Lesley was so incredibly kind and helpful, both in the lead-up to our wedding and on the day itself.

First up, arriving to our wedding in a steam train was a 10/10 experience, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking to get married here. Our guests also loved having train rides during the reception!

We had our ceremony and photos in the garden outside, which was perfect for us and the flowers are gorgeous. Our reception was in the Sidings bar, with a perfect blank canvas to decorate (again, thanks to Lesley as she set up this room exactly as we wanted it!) and a great selection of well-priced drinks.

This venue was perfect for us and very reasonably priced, we would definitely recommend it to other couples!

Such a fun day out visiting the 1940s day.
Great music, uniforms, memorabilia, train ride and minibus service from the paring.

Fun for all the family, would certainly visit another events day and come back

Excellent place for a family visit. Great facilities, bar toilets parking. Highly rated food and great selection of beers. Staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Friday night is open late for bikers of all ages. Well, it's worth a visit. 5 star rated.

Railway run by volunteers, steam and diesel trains and carriages run on certain days. Great rural setting, reasonably priced food and bar, outdoor setting and places walk. Loads of parking and well maintained.

Well worth a visit even if your not into trains. Great bit of history that's enjoyable to walk around. The cafe is also very good and good value for money.

Nice little station, huge eating cafe, children's play area. Clean toilet facilities. Outdoor seating in pleasant area over looking the platform and wagons. No trains running while we were there. Not a vast amount to see, but what us there is interesting if you like trains.

I had a lovely custom breakfast as I dont like bacon rolls, and I also got my own private train ride! Went on a diesel day when it wasnt busy, asked if the train was running and they dropped everything and let me ride the train. Short journey, up and down twice. Good for small children. Was only a fiver.
