Lovely area with carvan park and childrens play area very nearby. Great cafe and restaurant here and plenty of parking spaces by the Fishermans memorial and play park. You can walk to Banff from here following the well signposted coastal path. Great picnic spots on the hill to sit and watch the boats coming and going from the harbour

This is a lovely place to visit with a picnic and watch the world go by in the sunshine. To the west of the harbour there is a rock pool beach with plenty of benches to rest and soak up the atmosphere. The harbour itself is home to fishing and pleasure craft alike. To the east is a play park and community area along with a static caravan site. Whilst we were there there was a camping and caravan club rally probably celebrating national camping week and I have seen similar on other visits here.
Walking out towards the east is the path to Banff and the whole coastline walk is a real delight

Pretty place for a visit. Within dawdling distance of large play park for children and a small restaurant. Very pleasant visit. You can walk all the way to Banff caravan park where the beaches are sandy and go out to sea for a long way.

We had a single nights stay in this marina with our 12m yacht. She has a 2m keel and as such access and egress are limited to 2.5hours + or - LW. We came in a bit early and lightly touched the sand on the bottom. The photo shows us on the visitors berth. The harbour master was extremely welcoming and gave us lots of information. The local shop had good provisions. The marina showers are extra to pay for, £1. Access to rubbish disposal and diesel if needed. The entrance is narrow with a 90 degree turn to port so approach with caution.

An old fishing village that succumbed to the 90s mega trawling....... sad. But they have evolved and worth a visit.

Standing on the edge of nowhere on a gloomy day gives a sense of the hardships previous generations went through.

This is a nice walk to go from Banff Beach to the harbour, its a great view and a perfect walk, its quite a popular walk, so many locals around

Very restricted maneuverability coming into the marina. Toilet/showers currently under construction works. Shower needs £1 coin to operate for 7 mins.

Harbour master did give a welcome pack with a SD card of the photos he took of the yachts when entering the marina, which was nice

Wasn't visiting the actual marina, but the area. Lovely nice sunny day when we visited. There is a waterfront cafe & fish restaurant across from the marina, The Galley Whitehills. Also near by is a fish mongers shop which you pass on the way down to the marina.
