One of my favourite walks in Ludlow.

I normally park beside one bridge and walk along the river to the other. It’s usually peaceful and I often spot birds and other wildlife. Then up the hill for a beautiful the walk back and stunning views over Ludlow and the countryside beyond.

Any time of year there is plenty to see.

Beautiful and peaceful place to walk the dog. Lots of paths, but easy to find your way around, and an abundance of benches, all with a view. The river stretch is beautiful.

Lovely walks along the common and the River Teme in Ludlow. There's a beautiful view near Dinham Bridge of the river and Ludlow Castle. It's possible to make a 30 minute circular from the common, walk along the river, cross the river at Ludford Bridge and head up to Broad Street past the Wheatsheaf Inn. At the top of Broad Street, turn left at Butter Cross onto the High Street, past Castle Square and down Dinham to Dinham Bridge to return back to Whitcliffe Common. Along the way you'll pass classic English countryside, outstanding historic buildings and have the option of stopping for a coffee or visiting the Castle.

Lovely place to spend a couple of hours walking. It's not ideal of you have a pushchair or buggy but it can be done if you dont mind lifting occasionally.

Lovely views and a nice walk along the river. Lots of places to sit and take in the view, careful if it is heavy raining though!

Great place to walk the dog, but watch out for the dog poo that useless owners didn't pick up. Shame on you. Great view of the castle and church, probably the best view in Ludlow.
