Excellent service, from the start, to when we waved our boat goodbye.

We thought selling our boat would be a long, stressful process. How wrong were we?

Appraised at our marina, everything clearly explained, with no pressure to sell at all. We decided to accept the cash offer, after considering our options.

The money was deposited as promised, with the boat being collected on time a few days later.

We really were treated as valued customers, all the staff we dealt with were courteous & knowledgeable. We appreciate the way selling our boat was handled, from start to finish. Many thanks to all at Whilton, may you continue in the boating world for yeats to come.

Visited today looking for our future home, helpful and friendly staff in the office, asked what we were looking for and helped us narrow our search down before looking at the individual boats.

We were given 2-3 keys at a time and allowed to view at our own pace, any questions were answered when we got back to the office as well as being given a survey copy and hard copies of the two boats that caught our interest.

Signed us up for automatic updates as new boats come in, nothing we could agree on today but well worth the visit.

We have experienced an excellent all round service, whilst buying our boat from Whilton Marina. The office staff, Dave and Ian,Along with Matt from the workshop went above and beyond to ensure our boat was fit for purpose and ready to set sail, And we must add, it never missed a beat on our 3 day journey home. We wouldn't hesitate to buy from Whilton again and 100% recommend these guys to any potential boaters.

Great unassuming food served by friendly people in an olde worlde atmosphere. The chips are the best you're going to find, and the sausages are quality stuff, at a very reasonable price. I expect the rest of the menu is just the same.

Bought a boat from whilton for myself and my daughter to live on.
The boat had issues that arose prior to leaving as can can the case with boats. The marina company and staff looked after us in a 5 star level and worked non stop to get us ship shape for departure. We spent some time on the marina in the boat while the work was done and found the whole experience really lovely....the people and staff were great.

If you are looking to buy a narrow boat - buy it from Whilton Marina !

Rob has been fantastic throughout the whole process and exactly who you want to buy your first boat from. They have been honest, friendly and not at all pushy. Any questions we had were answered very promptly. Thank you !

The boat had been surveyed and blacked a few weeks before at the marina - two things you usually have to pay for and arrange at your own expense with a private purchase.

The Chandlery on site were also very helpful - making sure we had all the right kit and fuel before setting off (as well as and fridge well stocked with beer).

We had a beautiful trip down taking the boat back to the smoke - it took 7 days but we were starting at 8am and finishing at 6pm without stopping for breaks. In hindsight, allowing 10-12 days would have been a bit more relaxing.

The Grand Union Canal and the Midlands is beautiful and I never knew it existed. I would love to return one day (hopefully working remotely) as well as explore the rest of the UK canal network !

We had a fantastic experience recently when buying our Widebeam with Whilton Marina. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, we had various obstacles in the way from outside persons but Whilton Marina helped us to overcome them and often going the extra step to ensure a smooth transition.
