Absolutely incredible visit! If you have the chance to book with Andy and Karen absolutely do so. It is a wonderful day filled with a wealth of knowledge and beautiful views of majestic nature. My husband and I were primarily there for the lighthouse and we received that and so much more.
We were welcomed into their homes and fed delicious locally sourced lunch providing a look into the culture and education on the remote pastoral life this area enjoys. We witnessed local floral, birds and the many sites of the island. My husband and I love to travel and consider having a local guide essential for the experience and this team delivered on everything to a high level.

What an amazing day with Andy & Karen on Westray. So much insight, Karen the local and Andy with his archaeological background. Andy picked us up from the ferry jetty, and we felt so welcome in Andy & Karen's home for lovely food and chats, with others from far flung shores visiting the island. The tour meant we benefited from a full insight into Westary, without it we wouldn't have even scratched the surface. Excellent, highly recommended.

We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our day trip around Westray with you both. We both felt so welcome and the way you assisted Malcolm was really special. Having a connection with the island from Malcolm’s grandfather has made our visit so special and memorable too.
The way we were invited into your home to share a wonderful lunch . The sightseeing around Westray with its amazing emerald green fields and amazing seascape views. The incredible cliffs and the Noup head lighthouse. Many thanks for the most memorable day.

We don't usually choose organised tours when we travel, but this tour seemed to be different from the others. The tour was more than perfect: the history, the nature, the wildlife were all presented in a great combination, but what really made the tour special was Karin and Andy. They talked about they way of life, welcomed us in their home, made perfect lunch for us from local products. You could really get a glimpse of the everyday life of the people living here, and the beautiful environment they live in, 100% recommend it!

Andy and Karen show you all the highlights of Westray and give you an insight into island living, the history and social history which you wouldn't receive if you visited by yourself. They're also very knowledgeable about the local wildlife - particularly the birds - which if you're like me (and like them but can't easily identify which species they are) is very helpful. They're extremely friendly and welcome you into their home for morning tea/coffee and then an amazing lunch to sample the local produce. Highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommend Westraak Tours. Karen and Andy are a lovely couple with an abundance of local knowledge, Karen grew up on the island. Saw puffins seals and ruins, so I left very happy.
