Beautiful beach with soft sand and plenty of space to enjoy a day out. It feels more peaceful than some of the busier beaches, which makes it great for relaxing or a gentle walk. It’s dog friendly too, so perfect if you’re bringing pets along. There are handy facilities nearby like toilets and adventure golf, and free parking which makes it even easier for families, couples, or anyone just wanting some fresh sea air.

A really lovely beach – much quieter than the main one, which makes it feel more relaxing and peaceful. It’s a great spot to sit back and enjoy the sunset, with beautiful views and a calm atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you want a more laid-back beach experience.

Nice and clean sandy beach. Free parking easily found at residential roads nearby.

A little gem of a beach, tucked away not more than a few hundred meters from the Canterbury Rd between Margate and Westgate-On-Sea.
Only 1 ⭐️ because;
1. the facilities are shocking (the toilets date back to pre-decimalisation as far as I can tell) and the cafe appears to have closed in 1978 - the same time as everything else in the area by the look of it.
2. there are a number of outfall pipes running into the sea - which is a bad look these days.
3. on street parking… which is free (yay) but far from plentiful (boo).

This spot has bags of potential - come on Thanet council - pull your finger out.

Beach is lovely! Toilets are nearby and sometimes there's a geleto van. Roadside parking for free. Generally a quiet beach I think it's best to go during the term time or a weekday. Recommend!

Lovely promenade to walk along, but the beach looked really ugly with the tide out. Even some what looked like sewage pipes going down to the sea. Really needs some work done here. Cafe and loos look ancient (and permanently closed in the case of the cafe). Some free parking on the street, which gives it an extra star. Not worth visiting.

In it's self a delightful bay with soft sand and unspoilt, terrific for dog walking and socializing.
The big, big let down is the council's continued persistence in removing the bins, they obviously expect dog owners to take their poo bags home.....mmm then the complaints roll in about inconsiderate behaviour of dog owners who leave poo bags behind ...... you decide!
Council Could do with organising a beach rubbish clearing party instead of leaving it to the public!
OK so it was Easter and the council brought the bins out! But, for how long?
Nothing changes.
Now into September and no sign of seaweed being cleared!!
YET AGAIN SAME OLD SAME OLD STORY NO BINS , WONDERING IF ITS A APRIL FOOL JOKE - AS IT IS NO JOKE AT ALL
FOR DOG WALKERS!!!!!

Nice beach. Local free parking, so ideal if you can park up and walk to Margate easily too. We parked at Westgate-on-Sea (which is also free to park on the road next to the beach) and walked to Margate and back stopping at Westbrook Bay for a coffee break. Who needs to travel abroad when the weather is good and the water was easily warm enough to swim in. Lovely fine sand, with occasional bits of seaweed, but if you want a cheap way to enjoy our sandy beaches then start here.
