We are 3 generations (Mother, daughter and granddaughter) from Canada who hired Jim to take us around Stevenston to see where our Great Grandmother and her ancestors were from. He was wonderful and went above and beyond - far surpassing any expectations we had! He was so knowledgable and took us around to many places connected to our families history. He even brought a photo album of his Grandfather's pics taken in the early 1900's so we could see how Stevenston was and how it has changed over the years. He also made reservations at a wonderful restaurant which we enjoyed thoroughly. Can't recommend him enough and thanks so much for giving us such a brilliant day! 👏

We had to call last minute on Christmas he came and got us straight from his Xmas dinner to do a longer journey, and gave us a very decent price!! Deffo would not have found cheaper last night but would have been pushed to find cheaper on a normal night! Really nice chatty guy too so it was a pleasant journey! Totally recommend giving this guy a phone if you’re looking for taxis in the area.

We were struggling to find a taxi last minute on Christmas and I phoned this gentlemen and he answered straight away and managed to get us from stevenson to girvan. He was actually eating his Christmas dinner and as soon as he finished it he came and got me straight away. He also done it at a fabulous price even tho it was Christmas I would recommend this man to anyone in stevenson first class service thanks again 🙂

Booked a taxi told me he wasn’t gonna be here for at least 20 minutes, asked me if I got one sooner have I phoned around I said no not yet so booked him , then phoned around to see if I could get one sooner to try and catch our train not realising I had phoned him again which is my mistake but not hiding the fact yes I was looking to see if I could get one sooner which bearing in mind quite a reasonable person and would have cancelled due to getting one sooner , to then get a phone call back from him being soo rude and cheeky telling me to keep looking for another taxi also that I’m banned as he’s not coming as he knows I was phoning other companies even though yet again he hadn’t even left to come get us yet , myself and my family are actually in shock and definitely would not recommend him as a taxi driver as you might be scared to phone other taxis god forbid you might get one sooner than him shocking service!

Used West Taxi Service for 1st time, must say Jim was on time for taking me to and from work. Very friendly, and chatty which I find is good from a taxi driver. If I needed to use a taxi service again I would use Jim.

Needed a present picking up and dropping off at a friend's house for there birthday phoned West Taxi Services in the morning and it was picked up and delivered half an hour later. Great service will use again
