The train station, ferry pier and surrounding areas are very beautiful. A lovely atmosphere and awesome architecture. Very helpful staff at ferry. Worth visiting just for the station but traveling over to Bute is awesome with amazing views. £6 pp for ferry return is very reasonable.

We took the classic Ford Granada on a tour and the staff at both ends and on the boat were great and commented on the car, smiled for photos and generally brilliant. Top experience and I'd love to go again! Also took my camera 😁

Lovely building. Horrible day of rain did not spoil the visit. Had a pint in the Station Bar and lunch at McCaskies. Great Butchery shop. Took some nice purchases home.
