Brilliant 11th birthday bushcraft party for my son and 4 friends. Thanks to John and the team for arranging such a fun, safe and organised afternoon all tailored specifically to what the kids wanted (whittling, fire-lighting and making their own stove amongst other things). Also the food in the cafe afterwards was delicious and very reasonably priced. Lots of feedback from other parents that their kids had had a great experience. I would highly recommend .

Had a morning paddle boarding with the family and thoroughly enjoyed it. Instructor was brilliant, couldn't do enough to help. The equipment was all in perfect condition and the water itself was clean and everyone felt safe. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back.

I organised the Gorge scrambling for my family. We had a fantastic time. It was fun, adventurous and a laugh. The instructor was really good. He made sure we had fun and that we were safe. He was really good with my 11 year old son. Thank you all at Weardale Activity centre.

I visited today with Bish-Con U16 Girls Rugby Team for a team building day.
communication from Neil was excellent and he was very accommodating considering my request was out of season and relatively short notice.
Even with snow on the ground we managed all our activities;
High Ropes
Crate Stacking
Archery Tag
Everyone really enjoyed themselves and pushed themselves to their limits - thanks to Dylan for all the encouragement and occasional mockery 🤣
Catering was second to none, thank you Fiona for filling their bellies with a perfect warm meal!

We went here for a 30th birthday weekend. The staff were excellent and the activities were fun and inclusive. Don't expect luxury, but it is clean and has everything you need.

Booked this place for a stag do. We had an amazing time! The service was great when booking and on the day. The team were very friendly and accommodating. Provided a really nice lunch as well. Could not recommend the gorge trek enough. I would definitely recommend this place for social and even work / team building events.
