Washbrook Cottage itself is lovely. Beautifully decorated with everything you could need for a comfy and cosy break in the Cotswolds. The location is a great base to see all the lovely things the Cotswolds has to offer.
Our stay was managed by We Stay and unfortunately we didn’t find them to be that helpful. I had emailed prior to our stay regarding equipment for young children and unfortunately didn’t get any response despite chasing them too. Upon check in at the cottage the it was evident that the house had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The amount of just and first on the floor was terrible and this even extended to the toddler bed/cot mattress that was provided. After a group effort to clean the house we went on to have a lovely stay

We stayed at the Wood Lane View property in Falmouth from 16th September for three nights, four people.
The outside of the property on arrival, was underwhelming to say the least, with rubbish blowing about and the front garden area in such a state it was difficult to get into the driveway.
We fully understand that this is an old property but there is simply no excuse for the state we found it in. It’s clearly had some work carried out in order to improve things, but it was dirty, unfinished, and unsecure.
After discovering that the bed in our room was about to collapse we contacted the helpline number to be told that there was nothing that could be done and we should just use a different room. This was not possible due to the other rooms being occupied by other members of our group. As a result we spent the night on the floor on a mattress.
The garden to the rear was in such a state of neglect that it was impossible to enjoy, with brambles and nettles everywhere. The garden furniture was also damaged and unusable.
In the lounge the sofas were filthy and stained.
WeStay have told us that they had no knowledge of the problems in this property because “no one has told us” which I find bizarre. If you’re going to charge people to stay in a residence I would have thought that it would be paramount to regularly check it was suitable.
We paid £805 for three nights and for that I don’t expect filthy furniture, grubby floors, collapsing beds and an overgrown jungle for a garden.

Beautiful property that was perfect for our large party size of friends/ partners. Everywhere was clean, well furnished and decorated to a high level. The bathrooms were huge with great extras such as premium toiletries. I would recommend the property to large groups!

What an amazing house and location! The staff were brilliant at responding to any questions we had throughout our weekend break. We were very impressed with the decor and overall cleanliness of the house. We will definitely be coming back here in the future - the views, hot tub, comfort and management team made our stay one to remember. Thank you!

I booked Wash Brooke to stay with my friends celebrating my 40th Birthday. From the moment we arrived, the property ozzed “wow factor.”

The furnishing and the details were high end creating a luxury get away for us all. Everyone loved it.

When in comes to location, the house is spot on: we walked to a lovely local pub and visited stunning local villages.

If you’re looking at booking just go for it, you’ll love it just as much as we did.

The staff at We Stay couldn’t do enough for us - thank you.

The house is stunning and a few supplies were provided such as bread, butter milk and eggs . Good communications and we were able to check in a little earlier to enable the wedding cake and dress to be put away for safe keeping . Highly recommend

Stayed at this beautiful little hut/cabin spectacular views nice walks if your into that had everything you'd need to cook had a coffee machine can't complain about anything spotlessly clean perfect getaway for a couple bed doesn't look big but we both fit in it and the tin bath is actually a hot tub looks like a ice bath 😀
