Would highly recommend the team at W Carey motors! Whilst driving to one of my sites my windscreen wipers were stuck on, which would have drained my battery eventually. I called their reception and they were so helpful getting me booked in immediately. They called me a very short while later to say they’d fixed the issue. Graham was extremely helpful and quick to get this sorted for me which was amazing as I had other sites to visit and was under a lot of pressure! Really friendly and helpful team, thanks again guys for getting me back on the road quickly!

A fault appeared on my BMW X5 and having dropped into two other local garages to be told it could be a big job and I would have to book it in after the bank holiday, then checking the fault with BMW it was becoming quite scary as they said it should NOT be driven. Then a neighbour recommended I take the car into W Carey in West Byfleet for diagnostics, on arrival I was greeted with a can do attitude, they took the car in around 10am and by 1pm. They had resolved the issue, fixed another issue that arose during investigation and the car was ready for collection. What impressed me most was their approach to dealing with the issue, openly honestly and without hesitation I would certainly recommend them and will be using them in future for all of my BMW needs.

The best garage I have ever come across! Every time I go the staff are always so helpful and friendly. I’m heavily reliant upon my car for work and these guys have got me out of a fix on more than one occasion. We are so lucky to have such a good garage in West Byfleet. Thank you W.Carey!

Sadly my usual mechanic has stopped trading but he sent me for my MOTs here the last few years. I called them yesterday morning as my sliding door wasn't shutting. These guys managed to get it fixed same day and by fixing the broken part instead of replacing it not only getting it done quicker than waiting for the part but at a fraction of the cost. The earliest VW could get me in was in two weeks!

I highly recommend these guys.

As my family means everything to me, I won’t skip corners on car maintenance.
I want my car to be in its best possible condition so in the event of an accident or incident, my family is kept safe. I want the car to perform as expected when using it.

When we bought our new car last year, we were advised the DPF had been changed a year beforehand, but it lasted 2 years. Now I don’t know what the life expectancy is of a part that costs an absolute fortune, but it has to be more than 2 years so I very much doubt it was done in 2023.

Anyway, I’ve been using W Carey in West Byfleet for many years as I completely trust them. They have done all repairs and servicing on mine and now my kids cars. They do not try to add any other work, unlike a lot of other places. When they do notice an issue developing, they give me a timeline of its life expectancy.

Anyway, they’ve just changed the DPF for me, done a new MOT and service, and I have to say, wow. Hugely impressed with the price, a lot less than I thought it would be, and I know they don’t use crap parts or take short cuts. I was expecting a very large bill, as the car is a Range Rover.

If you want your car looked after like it’s your child, give them a call, seriously. Safety of my family is put in the hands of a garage that works on what probably is the 2nd most expensive purchase people will make. I don’t cut corners, W Carey don’t cut corners and neither should any reader of this review.

Cheers CJ, Graham and the team of mechanics and clerical staff, this was the best decision I made in moving my cars to them to look after, following a friend’s recommendation. I value recommendations from family and friends, and I strongly suggest that any reader of this review does the same. I’m happy to put my name to this review.

What a team here, I've been in a few times for issues and they've always been clear, transparent and honest about the work needed. Recently fixed an issue for free which I really appreciated. Well worth booking a spot for your car when it needs work, they will treat you right and always good to support local businesses.

I contacted W. Carey Motor Engineers by email to ask about fitting my own tyre. They replied that they ‘don’t fit customers’ own parts.’ I expected more flexibility from a garage advertising MOTs and repairs, not just tyre sales. Won’t be returning.
