We took a ride of the Waveney Princess and the tour was nice and affordable. The captain was very friendly and gave lots of fun facts as we took a tour of the broads. They recommended local activities such as walk to the Suffolk Wildlife Centre which we enjoyed. There was also a steward who ran a bar where you could buy food and drinks. There’s an upper deck which gives you a great view and a lower deck with shelter and tables. Overall we had a great time.

Took the 90 minute 11:00 tour of the Oulton Basin and River Waveney and had a very pleasant time. The staff are exceptionally polite and helpful, and the skipper provides an interesting live commentary on the outward leg, unlike the prerecorded efforts I have endured elsewhere.
We saw egrets, heron, lapwing, marsh harrier and even an otter fleetingly though I missed it myself.
Good value for money in my opinion. Can’t suggest an improvement so 5 stars.

Pleasant cruise around Oulton Broad and river Waveny, knowledgeable friendly staff only way to improve the comfort would be to fit cushions on the wooden seats

Information given by the captain was interesting and educational. The steward serving drinks snacks etc.. was cheerful polite and friendly. Lovely relaxing experience.

A great boat hire company. Staff were very helpful and we had a great day out on the Norfolk Broads. Boats were easy to navigate although the outboard motor is noisy and produces alot of diesel fumes.. no different to similar hire boats. Well worth doing

We were 7 in an 8-seater and the extra bit of space was valuable for showing a cool box (snacks and non-alcoholic drinks). We rented for 4 hours which was a bit tight 'cos we stopped for a nice lunch in Somerleyton and had to rush back a bit! WRT are a good, family company who charge market rates which may seem high but the boat we had had been serviced recently and ran faultlessly. They're nice people to deal with and their safety briefing was thorough and worth listening to. Recommended.

What a fantastic day out. We hired the self drive boat. Such fun.easy to use. Good instructions. Lovely big river. Really friendly and helpful company. Highly recommended for young and old alike!
