This 1 Star review is more based on the financial loss caused to us by the seller using Watkins and Thomas more than the estate agents themselves. We were first time buyers, found a property though Watkins Thomas, made an offer which was accepted. Opted for a Level 2 Surveyors report paid all legal fees for the searches etc… Only thing left was to exchange and agree on a completion date. We have been chasing sellers for an update for over 6 weeks through the solicitor and the estate agent, only to be told that the sellers have refused to move out as they did not find a house to buy themselves. Leaving us at us at a loss of approx £1500 in all the surveyors and legal fees. The property has now been removed from listings. Utter shambles.

What a great decision we made in choosing Watkins Thomas to handle our house sale. They skillfully guided everything through and kept us and our buyers fully informed at all times with progress updates. There is a real 'team' at this agents and they all work together to make sure that the service received is the best. Although our main point of contact was Steven, if ever he wasn't available, Antony, Jenny and Beccy all stepped in to help and answer any questions we may have. Could not recommend enough, hardworking, professional and even managed to keep us laughing along the way!

The service we received from Watkins Thomas was outstanding. Jenny went above and beyond to help us find the perfect property, and to complete both our property sale and purchase in a timely manner. Anthony dealt with the valuation, advertisement and property viewings, we knew we could trust him straight away - he was wonderful. And the two girls in the office, Rebecca and Abbie, provided a superb service with both of them being professional, knowledgeable and helpful.
