Beautiful barn! The photos of this place do not do it justice. It’s absolutely beautiful and charming. It’s evidently well looked after and clean throughout.

Each room is lovely and all have en-suites. So it’s perfect for a big group (sleeps up to 10). It’s well situated and has lots of countryside walks on the doorstep. The hosts were perfect! I received a helpful document about different activities/things to do/ places to eat etc prior to arrival.

I’d 100% recommend and I can’t wait to stay here again!

A very nice stay at this beautiful big barn.
High standard of modern decoration, kitchen well equipped and comfortable.
A wonderful welcome pack provided withocal produce.
Host David and manager Sophie were very helpful, responded to emails and messages promptly,
Area is beautiful, lovely walk to Tissington village with interesting visits to the candleshop,church, cafe,craft shop. Walk to Bradbourne and visited the church there.
Had meals out in Ashbourne ,Fenny Bentley and meal delivered to the barn.
Garden was lovely with widlife admired from the hot tub.
Highly recommended , we will come back at some time.

What a fabulous time we had at this superb property. Facilities are to a very high standard, pre-arrival information was very comprehensive and a great welcome hamper was waiting for us. Sophie and David were very quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend a stay in this beautiful area and property.

We had a family celebration at Waterside Barn for our 50th Wedding Anniversary and we were not disappointed. The Barn has been beautifully finished and maintained to a very high standard. Four lovely bedrooms with 3 ensuites and an extra bathroom. A generous Welcome Hamper met us on our arrival. Sophie, the Property Manager, was extremely helpful with emailed advice whenever I had a question. Nothing was too much trouble. Top quality equipment in the kitchen and a gas barbecue and of course the obligatory hot tub. Lovely views and walks. Spacious grounds with lots of wildlife and a bubbling brook - all of which adds to the peaceful ambience of the place.

The Waterside Barn is a great place to stay for a long weekend. The view from the hot tub is stunning and the garden is lovely. All bedrooms have their own bathroom, the kitchen is well equipped with an extra fridge and freezer in the utility room, and the lounge and dinner table have enough seating for all guests to be together. There are a couple of country pubs within an hour's walk. Perfect for a get-together, we'll no doubt be back again in future!
