Really nice place to have a wheel in or walk, wheelchair accessible all round. Nice cafe on site and plenty of parking space. There is also a bike hire place too and hand cycles for disabled people. Excellent on a sunny day. Gates closes at 5pm.

Well it’s for a good cause. That aside it’s a wonderful recreation hub. THAT aside the food is simple but tasty and worth the wait if your willpower allows you to walk the reserve first.

Spent a lovely day at Watchtree Nature Reserve ?
We ordered a Vegetarian Afternoon Tea and it was delicious! All freshly made, and served with a huge pot of tea!
Amazing value for money and such a beautiful setting.

Fab place for bug spotting, biking and walking with or without little ones. We go once a week with our bikes and spot lots of different creatures. The hides are fab and filled with info too. Would definitely recommend

Great place to walk the dog, with excellent paths and woodland. There are some great nature hides here for the avid wildlife watcher, one just next to birdfeeders so guaranteed to see a variety of birds at least.

It was my first visit for an outdoor work event. It took a little finding as it is remote. The reserve has an interesting and painful history that's worth exploring.
Such fabulous and totally absorbing surroundings, I must return to explore all the different habitats, views, and wildlife properly.
I noted good parking areas as you enter the reserve, walkways, and cycle routes. There's a small centre with toilets and a café area for meals, snacks, and drinks near the car park. There's composting toilets on site, too.
This site is accessible so get out and give it a go.
