If I could put a 0 star I would.
Booked in for an MOT at 9.30 this morning, car only returned to me at 4pm after they failed to inform me they currently aren't doing MOTs in-house.
Work was done to my car before the MOT to help it pass without my knowledge or consent which ended up increasing my final bill to almost double than what was expected. After trying to refuse to pay the additional amount, which I'm legally entitled to as they MUST seek permission before any work, I was slung abuse from the owner. I was called a "silly stupid girl", "not surprised I haven't got a husband" and was insulted for not being able to afford the additional amount. This was infront of their very lovely and polite receptionist which I could see the embarrassment on her face from what was being said.
I have never been so insulted and disgusted by a service provider and all because I was following the Consumer Law. I only took the car here because of the stunning reviews so I can't believe this has happened. I ended up having to pay under protest but will be taking further action as I will not be treated and spoken to that way.
