I have made frequent visits to North Yorkshire since I was a child and always ventured in to Wardil Bros. Customer service is always 5 star and they sell a good range of products and also offer printing services as well as a take away coffee machine. I love how very little has changed in store over the years.

A well stocked shop in one of the most charming villages in Yorkshire. The shop sells lots of touristy things as well as gardening supplies, cards and stationary. I always pop in when I come to thornton le Dale.

This shop is amazing! Is there anything they don't have in there? When you're staying in a self catering cottage and you really, REALLY need a blender for your pumpkin soup - look no further! ?
Reasonable price too. Yes, I'm sure I could have got the blender two quid cheaper if I'd driven miles or wanted to wait for it to be delivered, but there you go. Happy customer!

Lovely little shop, very well equipped. I would of given 5* but when I entered the lady was a bit frosty with me, by the time I left she was lovely - it could of been the case of a new face. Lovely little village, beautiful to look at.

Surprisingly expensive for this kind of shop, guess it must be because of the location. Reduced price out of date chocolates were still way overpriced but what really took the biscuit while very entertaining at the same time was buying some peanuts (bird food). I asked for 4 kilos and got exactly 4 kilos ... single peanuts were taken out to make the weight. I know this is Yorkshire but ...... 😉 I only live a few miles away but doubt very much I will return though they may get some extra custom from friends ordering peanuts !

Post office and general shop. All sorts available in here. I loved the kitchenware and gifts. They sell everything from postcards to jam and garden bins.
