Great experience with super friendly staff , this was the third time we have done this “route” and might try the longer one next time as found the Hay to Whitney a bit short now the “half day” one stops at the bridge where they now also own the restaurant located there. Highly recommend and no experience required, we saw 2 king fishers which was cool!

This was one of our best days out in the UK ever! We did the one day trip from Whitney-on-Wye to Byecross. It’s great fun paddling through a remote area with beautiful scenery and much bird life can be seen up close from the river. We got a comprehensive, friendly briefing and great advice before the trip. They were very kind and allowed us to change our date last minute. Couldn’t have been better.

We had a few hours on the river Wye and it was beautiful!! We had good instructions and were taken back to the start. Lovely little restaurant at the beginning and end.

Great day out for our family. Enjoyed by all 14 of us. Rob gave us a fantastic welcome and safety briefing so we all knew how to canoe safely. Really lovely stretch of water and countryside. Highly recommend this company.

Fantastic! A great welcome, followed by a very competent and assuring safety brief from George - and we were off.
We were planning out next visit before we'd reached the river bank at the end of the morning.
Great scenery, no technical ability required, and lovely and relaxing to drift down past the myriad of creatures that were just going about their business.

Had a great time canoeing, just the two of us. The router is gorgeous and fairly easy to navigate. The instructor and staff were great and very friendly. Lovely Italian restaurant at the end of the journey too.

We had such a great experience as a family. They accommodated needs of our autistic son and made all the reasonable adjustments. To help out, Rob came with us. It wouldn't have been possible without him.
It is a beautiful stretch of the river. Highly recommend. Be prepared to get your feet wet when water levels are low. All good fun.

It’s a great place overall and you should go for the experience. When the river level is low though, it’s really hard to canoe, as you keep getting stuck on the rocks. I even had to leave the boat and drag it manually in the middle of the river. We were told by the instructor that the route was easy, even though he has mentioned that he had to rescue an old couple who kept getting stuck.
