Decent park for runners and anyone wanting to get in a laid back walk. Not the biggest of parks, but has a play areas for kids and a couple areas to workout (pull ups, dips, etc).
It has a good area for tennis and basketball.
Would recommend for the locals.
It could do with some work though 🤷🏽‍♂️

Wandle Park is place to visit at this time (Spring). Its full of life and quite soul lifting is the large expanse of lush greenery combined with the Sun...ooooh la la!!!!

My first time at Wandle park and so upset I didn’t discover it last year. Such a nice space with various options a simple route with plenty of grass allowed my puppy off leash and she had a great time. Would be PERFECT if Croydon could clean up the lake.

This is going to be my regular spot this summer.

It is a good all around park there is a designated area for kids , you have a great skateboard area , a tennis court and basketball court. There is Wandle river running through the park . In general the park is pretty spacious you could have a picnic but unfortunately there no inclosure for letting a dog off the lead

Great outdoor space with playground area for children. You can relax there, enjoy green scenery and a little pond. Perfect for family time, morning run, walk with a dog, picnic on the grass, summer sunshine and winter walk. Full of wild birds and other small creatures. For all ages, small and big, for everyone. One of the places that you must see when visiting Croydon.

Over all it’s a good park to walk but the council needs to take care of this. Have seen families with kids and babies but it’s not that clean and it’s dried - neglected. It’s still beautiful if they have taken care of this.
The river is dried and is full of smelly water probably sewerage if I’m not wrong
