This tour was the perfect combination between spooky and historically informational! It had all of the must-see stops and was a great alternative to a real tour guide. The directional guides were very clear and the structure of the tour let me do it at my own pace. Super easy to follow along and I enjoyed all of the features the app provided!

This was our first time to use WalknTours. The direction's were excellent. Sometimes coordinating the walking direction with the map took some getting used to. I found it difficult to look at all the stops and listen to the story at the same time. Which I will say we loved the ones we did get to stop and listen to.

I believe the above was due to our first time using the app. We are late 70’s and not as quick on the draw as we used to be!! We will definitely use this app again!! We would highly recommend it to our family and friends!!

We really enjoyed our walking tour of Detroit. It was such an informative experience, while being low stress and relaxing…we were free to stop at any point and explore further, take pictures, etc. It was easy to follow and the layout is very clear. I’m sure the $150 tours that are offered elsewhere are very good, but for the price of this one, and all of the information it gives you, it just can’t be beat!

Took the Montgomery AL, Civil Rights Walk of Freedom. We rented two bikes and rode through the tour. No way on an August afternoon would we walk it! So hot!! It took us about 2 hours riding bikes so walking would take at least double that time or more. Very informative! We enjoyed learning the history and historical sites in Montgomery.

Brought 3 youth exchange students from Slovenia, Slovakia and Israel on the Boston Freedom Trail tour. Fabulous! Great to be able to go at our own pace!
It is 3 years post-Covid and it would be great if the tour were updated to reflect that. The directions were great! At times the recording referenced a photo to see about a certain subject - but we could not locate the photos.
Would love to have you do one of my town - Easton, Massachusetts - and know the perfect historian to help with it! Purchased the year subscription! Hope to use it again!
