Doug was very factual and gave us history about Inverness! Interesting insight of Jacobites and the battle in Inverness. Do feel less time should be spent on "city hall" as you can not enter.

Very good tour and our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Inverness and the broader region - her stories were so interesting and it’s all the little details that made it such a great experience. Only downside was that it was a very large group.

We typically engage a local walking tour during our visits to a new city. This allows us to get a wide overview of the city as well as obtain personal recommendations from the guide. However, our tour with Doug felt like more of a 'standing' tour. As Doug shared, he is allowed to deliver a tour based upon his preference. For us, it was lacking in historical content, as well as a wide overview of the city. For instance, he spent time sharing stories about pictures in city hall that we weren't able to view. For the group, it would have been helpful to have a laminate of the pictures to allow all to understand the story. Not sure if it was the guide or the content, but I wouldn't rate this as a 'must do' to acclimate yourself to this city

We had a lovely time on our tour with Becky! We only had one evening in Inverness, and we are glad that we spent it with Becky. She had all of the local knowledge that we wanted and really gave us a good understanding of the city that we wouldn't have been able to get otherwise. We highly recommend!

Best experience we had in our time in Inverness. Tour guide is extremely knowledgeable and there to guide you through the city’s history and landmarks and answer any questions you have. Got to see some hidden gems and made me fall in love with the city.
