Really enjoyed the Famous Faces walking tour this weekend, thank you ladies. I went alone and everyone was friendly and welcoming. We were shown many homes of famous faces, plus houses and streets that have been used in films/series. If you’re a fan of Bridget Jones, After Life, or just a walk through the pretty and interesting street of Hampstead, do it! I would just say Hampstead is pretty steep and we did around 18k steps but it was well worth it.

Who knew? I did actually because I've walked from Coombe Lane tram stop before although this Walking Post walk was WAY better of course! Emily and Lucy are great/jolly organisers/leaders and everyone is always relaxed and I always meet interesting people on Walking Post walks plus no-one is taking it seriously which I like!

Having followed several of their excellent walks before from the website, today I joined one of the open walks from Coombe Lane to Addington in Croydon. Very enjoyable nine and a bit miles with woodland and open meadows/fields, not at all what you would expect and guided masterfully by Lucy. We were a relatively small group, some of which had walked together before and others like me who were new, and it felt very welcoming with some nice conversations along the way. Would recommend for those seeking to explore paths less well trodden yet still well connected to public transport.

Attended today's Walk the Line Sculpture Trail. Well organised, friendly people, sufficient stops for toiles and eating. We had to deviate once due to a diversion sign on the route but it wasn't too bad.
The cable car views are amazing
Totally recommended.

We've been a subscriber for a while, but never managed to join a group public walk. Done a few of the mapped walks ourselves, especially recommend the Lovelace Bridges and Towers Walk. Finally we managed the Bowel Babe fundraiser Hampstead public Walk. Everyone was gently welcoming, friendly and a really lovely group dynamic, well done Lucy and Emily. A lovely walk over parts of Hampstead we hadn't seen before. We look forward to joining again soon.

I was fortunate to be able to join Lucy & Emily on all 4 legs of the London to Alton walk as part of Alton's walking festival. It was great to discover new routes (some with lovely views!) and meet new people as well as see familiar faces. Whilst I enjoyed all 4 sections, I particularly liked Section 2, walking over the North Downs. Thank you Lucy & Emily for devising such a lovely walk.

The Walking Post is a fantastic group (organised by Lucy and Emily) and I have been on many of their walks. It's a great way to get out of London and have a sociable time while walking through fantastic countryside that you would never have found yourself. Definitely recommended.
