Amazing day with Tony of Walk Mull. Terrible weather to start with but Tony made it very engaging and enjoyable. Loads of wildlife, eagle pellets, new to us plants, great habitats, a misty swim, lots of fun had all round and by the end the mist cleared and we were rewarded with the beautiful views. Would highly recommend a walk with Tony. Thank you so much

Tony of WalkMull is simply the most fantastic walk guide! My first adventure with him was climbing Beinn Talaidh with my sister. I was feeling unconfident and doubtful of my own abilities but Tony put me immediately at ease and ensured we went at a comfortable pace which meant we not only made it to the top, but were rewarded by sea eagles soaring just 20 feet over head! Unforgettable. Tony is so knowledgeable about trail finding, the local wildlife and fauna, we learned so much from our walk that day and were very happy.

After such an amazing first trip, I then booked a follow up adventure with him (with my sister and Dad), this time to explore the ruined settlement of Shiaba. Tony made sure we were all comfortable and took into account our different walk and fitness levels, and took us on a grand off trail adventure that encompassed three remote beaches and wild swims, something I’d have been unlikely to do on my own!

Tony’s company, knowledge of the land and wildlife, and upbeat gentle encouragement for pushing past the comfort zone made these walks so wonderful for me - already got the next adventure booked! I couldn’t recommend a walk with Tony more. His Instagram is a must see for a true taste of a WalkMull adventure!

What an incredible day out with Tony.

Been friends with Tony through socials for a while after lots of banter and good chats about Taylor Swift, decided to book on for a walk with him and explore some unknown parts of the island. I’ve been coming to Mull for a good few years now but normally hit the usual hot spots, so was great to head out into the wild a bit and see something new.

Didn’t anticipate seeing as much nature as we did and learned so much about the plants and landscape…..along with tips on how to tie your boots better! Who knew, and total game changer!

Spotting a female hen harrier during lunch stop was awesome, watching a baby Dipper waiting for mum at the top of a waterfall, multiple stags wandering around the hills and then 2 golden eagles soaring above our heads - all of it plus everything else I haven’t mentioned was just incredible.

I got the camera out for the baby Dipper as the backdrop was insane, but the rest, it was so nice to observe, touch and really experience 🙏🏻 all in the knowledgeable hands of our expert guide…..even if he doesn’t yet know the bridge to Cruel Summer - next time Tony, we sing it together 😉

Omg!! What an absolutely amazing day we had with Tony. If you are coming to Mull and are a walker/hiker/wild swimmer then this is absolutely 100% a must do. Tony will design the walk specifically to your needs, and will point out all the amazing plants, flowers, birds that are home to Mull!! We had a fantastic day in the rain and wind!! And a memorable swim at the top of a waterfall. I will be back for more!!! Book it now peeps!

Tony was brilliant! It has been the highlight of our trip to Scotland! he took us off the beaten track in to the hills of mull! He was able to match the walk exactly to our needs and showed us the amazing wildlife around us. Enjoyed my fourth Walk Mull experience with Tony, yesterday. As always, he was so accommodating, fitting me in at short notice around a busy week. Each time we go out walking, he shows me the wilder side of Mull, talking me on expertly guided walks well off the beaten track & tourist routes. He is so good at intuitively reading when I need to slow down or stop for a break, yet will push me to go beyond my comfort zone and tackle walks and dips I wouldn't even consider on my own without a guide. Tony points out wildlife and tells you about the geology, geography and flora of the island, too. I always feel safe and comfortable on my adventures out with Tony, even to the point of dipping in my underwear when I forgot my swim kit! He is the perfect combination of friendly and laid back whilst being the consummate professional and very respectful. I always feel really safe with him, and he's a really humble guy. I'll definitely be booking in with Tony again in the future.

Don't miss a walk/hike/wild swim with Tony. He will bring you to places you could never get to on your own that will take your breath awa. On top of that, he's a skilled guide and a marvelous person with a great sense of humor. If you're American, bring hiking boots. Here they call them walking boots.
