Was given this tour as a gift and may not have chosen it myself however, the experience turned out to be really enjoyable and informative! Well worth the effort of getting to London early on a wet Saturday morning. Eddie our guide was great and how he presented his tour was so interesting. We learnt so much and had fun searching for visual historical clues. Not to mention the great food and drink we sampled. Off the tourist trail and down back streets, you really got to see another side of London. Would thoroughly recommend.

We decided to book a private tour for a 60th birthday present on the recommendation of a friend. We weren’t disappointed. Our tour guide Eddie was friendly, knowledgeable and witty and it was a joy to spend 3+ hours listening to his stories. The food stops were excellent with lots of choice and we were all very full by the time we’d finished! A great way to spend a Saturday afternoon, would thoroughly recommend this tour. We can’t wait to try another!

This was our second tour with Eddie. After 5 years it was like reconnecting with an old friend. We had a wonderful and unique experience, seeing a part of London that our family enjoyed together. At times we were the only people on the street and you could imagine what life was like during the Industrial Age. We were taken to small boutique venders for amazing food and drink, fresh roasted coffee with pastries, handmade pasta, and wonderful tapas. We finished up at the Borough Market and sampled some exquisite chocolates at Alain Ducasse. Eddie we couldn't have had a better start to our trip to London. See you next time!

Absolutely amazing. I booked this tour for my Hen Do as I wanted something quirky and different and I was not disappointed! Eddie was fantastic, funny and kept us interested in the history of the area whilst showing us quaint and delightful food/drink places. Will definitely be coming back and trying one of the other tours on offer. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a different tour of London!

My wife and I did the Portobello Rd food and walking tour a couple of days ago. It was great. A fascinating area, Eddie has really done his homework to draw out an interesting story. A tasty and generous range of food too. We thoroughly recommend this tour

Eddie's East London Food tour is a wonderful combination of eating, learning, modern art and quirky London history!

We signed up because we are food lovers and wanted to experience an area we didn't know well, namely East London. We were thrilled by the variety of cuisines and flavours we got to try but also impressed by Eddie's stories of life in London both historic and modern. He took us to hidden corners and food purveyors that we would never have found ourselves, ending in a rather unique and jolly drinking establishment! Highly recommended!

A great experience from start to finish. A group of 5 friends and I did the Portobello road tour with Eddie. We arrived 15 minutes late - due to the tube lines being closed for maintenance, Eddie was extremely understanding and accommodating.

Eddie has fantastic knowledge of the area and is extremely affable. The tour itself is great, with stops at just the right times for food and drink. The Venezulen Cachapas from Papelón were a personal favourite for me.

We all had a great time and I would highly recommended to anyone looking for something to do in London.

My only criticism would be to perhaps have more savoury food stops over the ‘sweet’ stops but that is just a personal preference.
