My stay at Vita Bristol was really nice, with a high standard of hospitality and entertainment. Events are hosted on almost a daily basis, making our community more connected. The staff made all the difference during the stay there—very helpful and constantly polite with everything I needed and was concerned about. Especially Aaron and Adele, whose great assistance stood out. On the whole, Vita Bristol was just amazing living, with great facilities and a really supportive and effective team.

Vita is the best student accommodation in Bristol. The room is clean and nice. The house keeper will clean the room twice a month. The receptionist are very helpful. This is my first time studying in the UK.The service is beyond my imagination, especially in the epidemic. Almost all the student buildings stop the reception service. But our receptionist still work 7/24. They prepare breakfast in bags. They send boxes to room.

Staff hostility and rudeness staff name: Jessica from the night team; I ordered food at night to eat due to hectic packing for my flight. She approached me with hostility and rude tone demanding I leave and Her attitude escalated to her arguing with an aggressive tone to leave.

There were no signs around vita saying we cannot eat food in the student hub after 3. I had the left at 3:08. 8 extra minutes spent won’t cause any harm and was not worth it on her end to cause and issue.

I request an apology for the way I was treated, this has made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I expected the staff in vita to be welcoming and kind. This incident has changed my views on vita.

I am a resident at VITA student Bristol and am currently experiencing an issue of hot water absence. Unfortunately, I was not able to take a shower at times that are convenient for me for the past few weeks as there was no hot water in the building. The residence manager kept on sending messages pretending that the engineer has come to the building and was fixing the issue whereas no one came so far. I am not the only resident with this complaint as the vast majority of people have complained to the reception during this time. This is my third year in VITA student Bristol and I can assure you that this problem has been present in the building since the year I moved in. I am very disappointed with the services provided by VITA for the high price I paid to live here. I require compensation for the weeks there was no hot water in the building during this cold snowy weather due to which my health has worsened. Not to mention the temperature in the rooms which does not go high because of the heaters installed in the room. The heaters work for 2 hours and then switch off, which is of no use to the overall room temperature which leads to no improvements. The hub heater works for 24 hours straight and that makes me question why the same thing cannot be done in my room.

Firstly the location of the building is really good. It’s only 10 mins walk to Cabot and 2-3mins walk to the bus stop to get to UWE. It’s also very near to UOB.

When I first got to the accommodation I was disappointed with the condition of the room. It was dirty, chair was broken and so on. However, I made a complain to the reception and they cleaned my room immediately and replaced a new chair for me on the same day.

The benefits of this accommodation are breakfast is provided from Monday to Friday. Therefore, you do not need to wake up early to prepare your own breakfast before going to class.

Next benefit is the events. Vita holds events giving residents opportunity to expand their social circle. There are various events from educational to social events. I really enjoy the cooking class and social events!

If you’re an introvert, fret not. The staffs are really welcoming and they are always there so you would not feel left out and also be able to make new friends easily.

Aaron, Sarah, Senaya, Tee, Adele, Richard are very helpful and friendly! Feel free to have a chat with them whenever you need someone to talk or if you have any issues with your room/experience in Vita. They’re always there at the reception! They are a great support when I was living there.

And also don’t worry about safety in Vita. This is because there will always be a staff on shift even at night!

After a year living in this accommodation I can say that the facilities are awful as well as the communication in this company.
When I checked in I didn't have hot water for two months and my window won't close because it was broken. Keep in mind that it was September in Bristol so it was very cold. They could close it on October/November but my window was not fully fixed until this September ( a year later).

The amount of times that I had to send emails and calls to not only Vita Bristol but customer engagement where they would lie to me and say it would be fixed or that they would call me and everything ended in me waiting for them. They are unprofessional and because we are students feels like they do not take us seriously.

- The cleaning service is questionable since they do not clean the as they should (the bathroom or the floor usually are not clean) they also do not tell you when they are going to clean, not day or the week or rage of time, they just show up knocking on your door.
- The breakfast is bad quality and there are usually flies on the food. Moreover the coffee machine its often broken.
- If you have an issue with your room they won't help you fix it soon.
- There are water leaks in the gym and sometimes on reception. They have to put buckets on the floor.
-Usually there's no people on the events because they are super basic and not as good as in other vita accommodations.
- People from reception would knock on your door almost everyday to ask you if you want to join their event.
- If you have a question involving an issue in your room they never have an answer and it takes weeks for them to give you a minimal solution and keep you updated about it.
The only good thing is the location of the building.

After living there and talking with other tenants about the experience, we all felt scammed because the services and expectations shown on the website about the accommodation were not the ones at vita Bristol.

My overall feeling is that there are a huge lack of communication between different sectors in this company and they never know anything and when they do, they try to blame another sector about it.

If you want to have a good experience as a student in Bristol, do not stay here.

Great location, regularly cleaned rooms and some very nice people. Some of the folks, Aaron and Sarah especially, go out of their way to make sure we’re content with the services. They regularly organise events and keep things lively. Would return! Very expensive compared to all other places around though.
