Holds a cafe and toilets facility.
The cafe is quite highly priced for it's location and has a high street coffee shop vibe.
The outside gardens are beautiful, with several seats around the walkway and there are several picnic benches to the rear of the centre, surrounded by grass.
The centre houses classrooms and exhibition areas and appears to he a hub for local projects.

Very interesting for those of us who have never visited the area before. Didn't know there was so much history here, particularly the link with central park in New York? It made the walk around the park much more meaningful and enjoyable? Even on a dull winter's day.
The cafe was a welcome feature and we enjoyed lunch here.
Toilets clean but fitted with those hand dyers which struggle to blow up a paper bag!
A pleasant surprise though, and we would like to return in the spring when everything is coming to life.

Great Park. Best to go in the early afternoon. Be sure to grab a bag of bird food from the park centre. It's only a pound and better than giving the ducks bread. Also, take some fruit and nut mix for the squirrels. They get ready close. My daughter loves them

Pleasant place to have drinks, light lunch, snacks and ice cream, limited vegan options but what they do is nice, staff are friendly and dogs are allowed

Nice ice-cream. Bare, robotic inside to cafe. An unwelcoming atmosphere. Like queueing up for school dinners. No atmosphere. Comes across as a money machine - nothing more. No friendliness. No customer rapport.

Visited yesterday with the family. Considering it was a nippy December day with the odd drizzly rain spell there was a constant stream of people heading to the cafe. A modern looking cafe. Medium sized meals. The battered fish was lovely. Had a lovely ice cream aswell. The other part of the centre was shut but still plenty of visitors milling around. I'm sure in summer it will be a bit of a central hub.
Visited again today 3rd August 2019. Lots of people milling around enjoying the lovely weather. Cafe staff more than happy to help when my daughters drink wasn't quite right. Great visit 👍👍
