I went in to the Visit Newquay Tourist Information Centre on the first day of my holiday and they helped me find everything I needed for the week with my family. They gave me a free map and guide book which I was chuffed with, they were really friendly and gave me lots of tips on family friendly things to do in the area. They also gave me advice on where to eat and the best place to get a pasty! I couldn't recommend them enough if you're looking for information on Newquay.

The shop was also really modern with lots of souvenirs which I bought, some maps and guide books and some beach stuff for the kids. They also had a play on the interactive touch screens which they loved whilst we got more information. Thank you to the lovely Visit Newquay staff for a brilliant start to our holiday!

Really friendly guys and very knowledgeable about what is going on all things visitor and local attractions wise in and around the Newquay. Really handy location as well just off the main road in the centre of Newquay. If you are in town and want inspiration and friendly advice on cool things to do in sunny Newquay, then 100% pop in to say hi to these guys. They have all the intel and top tips!

Worse experience in a Tourist Information I've ever had and that's saying something. We visited the Newquay Tourist Information today, on 21 August 24. The staff member was abrupt and both my partner and I felt like he couldn't get us out quick enough. He did provide some leaflets and info but it was rushed. There wasn't even a queue which would have been more understandable.
Moreover, he actually scoffed at one point when we asked about buses. Maybe he was having a bad day but he most certainly he isn't representing Cornwall's hospitality well. We hope it's just a one off.

Very friendly staff member greeted me immediately as I entered. Happy to chat and give lots of good advice and information about the local area and tips for travelling further.
Large range of free brochures and maps as well as a range of souvenirs.

After making the mistake of not pre-booking a taxi to the airport on a bank holiday Sunday, we ended up here with no options 1 hour before our flight. The man who was working here spent quite some time calling all the different taxi companies, none of whom were picking up. Eventually, he managed to get ahold of a lesser-known company who managed to get us to the airport in time!

Many people would have been unhelpful or poked fun at us in this stressful moment, but this man was empathetic, calm, and kind. Thank you so much!

Can't believe they sell an ordinance survey map (OS Tour version) of Cornwall which is £2 quid dearer than at W.H. Smith's! As their role is to advertise Cornwall's many great attractions I thought that they'd be selling maps as lower priced as possible so people can access as much as possible on their trip.
