Had a great boat trip up the Thames from Greenwich to Westminster to see the christmas markets there was also a great commentry by a member of the crew . The boat also had a bar which was serving mulled wine plus hot drinks . Staff were very helpful and friendly would highly recommend a trip with them .

If you cruise the Thames river at night, the views of the city are magnificent

I have taken this Thames cruises quite a few times, I usually go on Sundays when they offer the cruise for £10. On top of how fun this little jaunt up the river to Vauxhall bridge and back is, where you get to see so many famously icon London landmarks, there are few other things you can do for 2 hours in London that are as affordable. The trip leaves Greenwich during the Golden hour so the sun is already lower on the horizon providing beautiful lighting conditions to take photos of those landmarks, by the time you head back it's usually during the Blue hour (which in my humble opinion is even better for photos of London). There really is no other way to see the city as well as the view from the Thames. Do yourself a favor and don't miss this. There are a number of restaurants in the area if you wanted to have dinner first then the cruise. Conveniently located close to the Cutty Sark DLR if you don't want to drive. I believe there is a paid parking lot not far from here if you want to drive. I put this in my top 10 don't miss things to do in London.
