Absolutely amazing loved it took my 18 year old autistic son and it was the highlight of his life just a few of the many shots taken

Interesting enough. As the name suggests, it's mainly railway coaches - some famous having appeared in various films and telly series. Whereas some proper vintage (early 20th century).
Other smaller exhibits and information boards to look at as well.
On site gift shop with: books, DVDs, and other merchandise.

From start to finish a great experience. Staff very friendly, great value admission. Lots of information without being too much.
Well laid out, and to be able to sit in carriages all on one level superb.
Really disabled friendly and lots of flat surfaces.
Definitely go and visit.

Great museum. One of two at Ingrow Station and £6 to get a joint ticket to get into both museums. This one is the bigger museum with vintage carriages inside. There's a walkway in the middle of the carriages that you can go on. There's carriages you can get into, audio about the carriages, information about which films/ programs the carriages have been in, etc. On the walls and in glass cabinets are many artefacts. Outside and inside, there are also old Station signs about. Well worth a visit.

Lots to see and explore inside the carriage works, there are plenty of information posters provided, as well as a DVD playing in one corner and a few interactive talks inside the carriages. The staff were also very knowledgeable and more than happy to answer any questions.

There was a gift shop available with an extensive range of books and magazines related to the railway, all of which were very affordable.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND for anyone of any age! Great for kids who love trains as well as adults wanting to learn or look at prices of history! The carriages on show have been used on many TV programs & films. Also situated in a beautiful part of the country surrounded by fields and the Yorkshire Lanscape, 5*
