I had not gotten my visa when I wrote this review. So the outcome of my interview does not influence my response. The staff are very friendly and professional. They made the process very smooth and quite timely. I was in and out in about an hour. As you see from the pictures, there is a printing and photocopy service just outside the VFS office. There is also an easy to use self-service business centre inside. You're advised to not come earlier than your appointment time, as you don't get to go in earlier than your appointment time. There's no sitting space in the waiting area outside the VFS office.

Entry is only allowed 15 mins before appointment time. However people queue long before that.
In case you are in the back of queue but your appointment time has arrived, they will allow you to proceed.
Quick service. Easy access
In case you forget any doc there is free as well paid printers
Option to collect or courier your passport.

Good managed services. A few improvement suggestions for a perfect experience:
1. Initial queueing mostly requires us to stand outside in harshest of weather. If that can be somehow improved.
2. For passport collections, there is not much guidance on which window to go to in the hall. There can be signboards for the same.

Booked our appointment a day before.
Was a great service. Quick and easy. Location was also good as its not to far from Liverpool Station. Big thankyou to the security man that was very helpful.

10.30 appointment is just when they let you in the building. Once in you then have to take a ticket and wait to be called in.
Some other reviews mentioned challenging charges, this was good advice. No need to get angry etc. just be firm if you think you're being asked something unreasonable (such as leaving your passport).

Had a good experience renewing my SA passport. Staff are extremely friendly. I only didn't like the sticker they put in the back of the passport, which does not come off without soap and water.

Other thelan one reception guy, staff at the main counters is rude and speak to customers like they mean nothing, was litterally throwing papers in front ofbyou to fill in. Really disappointing to see that indian people from Indian community treat their own people like this!!
Only advice to the staff at main counters is to change your job if you are that unhappy doing it!!

Good experience but too many print outs we are asked to carry and it's a lot of money and not even a single printout was checked. We should promote go paperless
