From our initial enquiry through to our last day of travel home from Switzerland Venture abroad has supported us amazingly, to provide an experience of a life time for all our Guides and volunteers! The planning and support received from Amy and Elena, right through to the departure day was so professional, supportive and friendly, building the ultimate programme for us. The Accomodation and transportation and activities were all more than we expected. And finally a massive thank you to Jenny the Venture Abroad tour rep. Jenny just made the trip even amazing, taking the stresses and strains away from myself as group leader, just supporting with the implementation of the programme each day, adding helpful hints, and becoming member 35 of our group. Our Venture Abroad reps Lydia and Jenny were absolutely brilliant whilst we were in Adelboden. They updated us each day, went over our programme and even when there were train/bus changes, kept in contact throughout which made the whole experience stress free. They went above and beyond with bookings, little tips, arranging delivery of pizza etc and were so friendly and supportive. You have 2 gems there, they were wonderful!

Our trip to Switzerland was quite simply out of this world - facilitated in resort by the awesome reps, Lydia and Jenny, who were just there to facilitate and ensure we were all safe and well and able to organise our transport. We had pre-booked all of our excursions through Venture Abroad, and had all our timings worked out, but it was great for Lydia to validate them and ensure the bus reservations were made. She was able to give good advise based on local knowledge. They became part of our group, accompanying us on some excursions, leading hikes and joining for dinner, and we will miss them very much.
The accommodation was clean and tidy as expected, and the owners were on hand for any issues. Beware of low beams if you have tall participants! Access to a drying room is always a bonus in the mountains as the weather can be unpredictable.
I can't say more than the whole experience in resort was simply fantastic.

An excellent tour operator to work with from start to finish. They guide you and exceed your expectations on everything you want from your trip. Their standard programmes are brilliant, but if you want that little bit more and can stretch your budget, they will make it happen! Definitely recommend..

Our Guide unit have just returned from our second international trip with VA. This time we went to Switzerland. I cannot fault any aspect of the trip - right from my initial planning through to our post trip follow up. The organisation and communication was excellent and they were always happy to answer any question I had - no matter how trivial. Our rep when we were in Switzerland was exceptional. She took so much of the stress away for me. I can highly recommend VA! Thank you for all your help in making our trip such a success 🙂

A large space, typical Swiss Chalet, the girls bedrooms were smaller than the photos showed, but it was good. Although I am sure we left it cleaner than we found it!
However Lydia our Rep definitely went the extra mile, she was absolutely amazing. She really looked after us.
