I would give 0 stare if I could! I missed my doctors appointment because the driver was late and on top of that once the Journey started, he was driving 5mph on a 20mph zone when there were no care on the road! When I rang back to dispach to raise this issue I was rudely told that I should have allocated 30 minutes, as per their policy, for the trip if it was for doctors appointment. It is customer's fault !!! In their mind driver had no fault for being late to a prebooked trip or for being ridiculously slow!!! Not even an appology from dispach! I will never travel with Drive taxi again!!

EXPENSIVE, THREATENING AND ABUSIVE! AVOID!!!! -5 stars if possible!!! AVOID AVOID!!!!! You’d be better off walking than getting abusive phone calls from a driver that didn’t turn up and then rufusnishing to leave. £120 for 20 mile trip…. No refund horrendous

If I could give 0, I’d be more than happy to. This is due to several reasons, and one of them being lateness. Every time I pre book a taxi few days in advance (sometimes the day before) the taxis are late. I book taxi for 5:20, it comes 5:30, 5:40, and 5:15 it looks for a driver for next 5-10 minutes, once that is done and eventually it finds one it’s already past the time I booked it for. Similarly how taxi drivers charge 0.50p for wait time for the passengers, we should be guaranteed 0.50p / min refund for their lateness charge.

Secondly, does no one on earth in DRIVE knows how to use GPS? Google Maps? All you have to do is type the drop off address up and it will do everything for you. On few instances drivers had issues with getting us to our work place.
(1) the driver was going in completely opposite direction to another company in Barnsley or else, while we are going to Armthorpe, just because Names are similar or the same. ALL you have to do is Google it (we did say Armthorpe and I recited the postcode)
But no, the company name tells you more. After a while we saw his mistake. All you had to do is do what any driver would do in instances like that is…. GPS! You guessed it. What if a customer doesn’t know English or any common language? What if they’re disabled? What if they just simply cannot explain to you direction for whatever reason? You’ll depend only on what you remember?

(2) today, the driver themselves was nice, polite, I appreciate that. But it’s already too late as I am myself and someone else trying to get to work on time and can’t because 1. Drive is searching for a driver, 2. When finds one, I see them standing in one place for 10 minutes and comes late of course. While you try not to stress due to your past experiences. While we are in the car, AGAIN - what way is it? What way are we going? Then we go left? Again, he was nice and tried to lighten the mood but I am generally disappointed in the drivers that I had so far. Everyone else can use GPS but the drivers? Customers have to be the one with Google maps and stressing over miscommunication?

There has been no good journey with DRIVE so far, yet I use it every Sat.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! I booked a taxi with Micks for Sunday at 16:00. When it got to 16:05 I rang the taxi company because I'd had no text or phone call from the taxi driver to let me know he had arrived. It was hammering it down with rain at the time so I was trying to get hold of the driver to ask if he could come round the corner (literally) to pick me up instead of me having to go out and get wet through. The lady I spoke to on the phone was the most RUDE, HORRIFIC, AGGRESSIVE woman I have ever spoken to. She told me it was my fault I wasn't there (for a taxi that had not told me it had arrived) and that the driver had drove off and classed me as a no show. I asked her how was I supposed to get in a taxi that I didn't know was there to which I was met with shouting and anger. Absolutely worst service I've ever experienced in my life and once she realised the driver hadn't informed me he'd arrived and they were in the wrong back tracked and offered to send me a new taxi out. Fair to say I rejected this offer. I will NEVER EVER use Micks again for taxis and the woman whoever she was that I spoke, to should be sacked for her lack of customer service, rudeness and anger to customers. POOR PERFORMANCE MICKS!!!!!!

Utterly disgusting service start to finish, phoned up for a quote for a minibus for 5 people plus suit cases which came to £23.50. Driver arrived in a car that could only just fit 5 people with no suitcases (luckily a friend took half of us down). The driver on the way down almost crashed twice and blamed it on other drivers. Upon arriving at the train station he charged up £32. When I phoned up drive the basically said that because the £23.50 was only a quote it had gone up in 2 weeks and that they had no knowledge of us needing suitcases. At this point I put the phone down as the conversation was obviously going no where.

I am glad I was inspired to call and ask if the booked taxi will show up. Operator told me there was no booking even though I made the booking the night before. If you want quality service, try Absolute. They send texts when the booking is made and when the car is on the way to your address so you're ready. I am so disappointed with this company.

We ordered one from Micks last week for 1.15pm. Hadn't come by 1.25, called them and they said no idea why he hasn't come for you and he was nowhere near!! Don't worry they said there's another nearby and he'll just be a few minutes. 15 mins later, no sign so called them again. This time that driver had decided he was going to have his lunch instead of pick us up without telling them!! Finally got one 35 mins late and nearly missed our appointment.....complete mess!! Shame as they used to be so good.
