We turned up on a day that it wasn't open, but it was still good to see from the outside. This is a boat with quite a lot of history in both real life as well as film. So make sure you take 1 minute out have a quick look. You've probably parked right next to it anyway!

USN P22 Patrol Boat based in sandwich,is a real patrol boat from the second World war,and it's the only patrol boat with engine's and is fully working. It's owner is my brother and I've driven it partly down the river Stour,it was a fantastic experience. The boat is for hire for rides down and back the river Stour. It's engine's are so powerful that entering the Royal Harbour of Ramsgate the captain has to turn one engine off,because it's too fast with both engine's working.

One of seventeen type 21 gunships.
Its new home is in Sandwich, Kent, UK.
Here it serves as an exhibition and now has a license to carry passengers for river tours along the River Stour to the mouth of the river at Pegwell bay, where a colony of seals live.
