Well worth the admission money!

At the moment until October, you can have a walk around the gardens on search for the wooden sculptures and take a snap shot of each different one, -can you complete? They do offer you a very good map to help locate each one...

Hungry?...

Take a picnic with you if you like, or have a tasty snack at the trailer cafe which they offer. Prices are, I would say, at the going rate and reasonable.

At the moment the gardens are in full bloom and flowers are full of bees; they have a nice walk around the grounds which is very manageable, also very well maintained.
It's also dog friendly, but remember to control them so others can enjoy the peace from nature. I hadn't come across a problem when exploring there myself, and came across a couple of well behaved dogs on the leads. They also offer little treats at the cafe to help quiet them down and also dog icecream, for the good doggy treat, for a price.

A good number of hours can be spent at this place if you are interested in this type of thing.
I've taken a few pic shots for you to see what to expect, but I'll leave a lot off so you can explore for yourselves. The rose garden is lovely to see!

If it is in full sun, you can be sheltered by the many surrounding trees. Cloudy and slight rain is also still ok if you bring a light mac or brolly..

I met the owner on the way out and he seems a very nice guy.

All in all, a thumbs up from meπŸ‘πŸ»

Really interesting art exhibition with mostly sculptures around the gardens as well as some prints in the chapel and shed. Nice wigwam style marquee for tea and lunch. Expensive but good quality. 12th century chapel very interesting. Gardens are beautiful. Much higher standard than national trust gardens which can be disappointing. Would highly recommend. Be careful not to trust your sat nav and follow sign posts.

Lovely place, smashing gardens and woodland walks and the food in the cafΓ© was great. Just a shame you can't visit the house as it's a private family residence but you can go into the Chapel on site. Free parking but obviously you have to pay an entry fee for the gardens. People with mobility issues may find it a little difficult to get around. You can take dogs but they have to be kept on a lead at all times. There are picnic areas as well.

Beautiful place, helpful staff. Really nice food too. Done would say the did itself is pricey, but you get what you pay for, and it was delicious. Amazing sculptures and artwork died around the whole grounds too!

This is a great place for a visit. Very interesting sculpture's in a lovely setting. A great gentle walk around the grounds, with a lovely coffee and tea bar that sells gorgeous cake. Ample parking and Β£7.50 entrance fee is a bargain.
The old chapel is worth a look too.

What a lovely place!
We spent 3 hours here, and loved every minute 😊
The gardens have such a vast variety of plants and trees, and the woodland walks are lovely😊
And we each had a pot of tea in fancy China cups & saucers at the cafe for less than Β£3 each πŸ‘Œ
