Lovely fella who took us across on the little boat. Been doing it for 30 years and was really chatty. Nice views for the short ride. We were staying in Ulva and he helped carry the bags up the ramp.

Great place to stay overnight at the new place for up to four campervans. Electricity, water and toilet disposal plus a great view.

Ewan arranged a bus (even when it wasn't scheduled), Alec picked me up from Salen, chatting while expertly hurtling us down the single track road. He also suggested that I could return to Salen next day with Barry as he would be driving out to pick someone up, a suggestion which then was taken care of by Ewan in the next phonecall. Seamless, customized, fun, speedy and affordable service!
